Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers for the next two weeks tease that Ava Vitali (Tamara Braun) will expose Jake DiMera’s (Brandon Barash) hitman history while Paulina Price (Jackée Harry) plays favorites and hurts Chanel Dupree (Raven Bowens). Chad DiMera (Billy Flynn) and EJ DiMera (Dan Feurriegel) will also go to war, so here’s what you can look forward to.
During the week of September 27-October 1, DOOL spoilers say EJ will have good news for Nicole Brady (Arianne Zucker).
Nicole will be thrilled when EJ reveals that Xander Cook Kiriakis (Paul Telfer) won’t be on the payroll after all.
EJ tried to force Nicole into putting Xander back on her team, so she’ll be relieved that fell through and may not really care why.
While EJ’s chatting with Nicole, he’ll suddenly feel the desire to ask her out.
EJ’s dinner date request will throw Nicole for a loop, but EJ will remind her they were good together once upon a time.
EJ will hope Nicole’s willing to let loose and have some fun with him, but he’ll eventually sense that Nicole’s feelings for Rafe Hernandez (Galen Gering) are hindering the plan.
EJ will have total confidence in himself and his ability to erase Rafe from Nicole’s mind.
Of course, Brady Black (Eric Martsolf) is always going to be protective of Nicole, so he’ll hear alarm bells when he realizes EJ’s made his move.
Brady will warn Nicole not to settle for less than she deserves just because she’s on the rebound.
Nevertheless, Nicole will be intrigued and may think one dinner date couldn’t hurt – just to test the waters!
Meanwhile, there’ll be plenty more possession drama. Marlena Evans (Deidre Hall) will try to suffocate Doug Williams (Bill Hayes) before Eli Grant (Lamon Archey) foils her plans.
John Black (Drake Hogestyn) will also get a troubling warning when Doug blurts out that Marlena wants him dead.
It may not register as anything more than Doug’s demented ranting at first, but it’ll make more sense to John down the line.
There’ll be some disturbing dreams happening in the week ahead as well – one that highlights Ben Weston’s (Robert Scott Wilson) fears about having a child and one that highlights the devilish road Marlena is headed down.
On the bright side, Ben will get help working through some of his fears when he shares them with Tripp Johnson (Lucas Adams).
Ben doesn’t have a ton of friends he can count on, so it’s nice that Tripp’s slowly slipping into the role of a pal.
Next, Ciara will get the scoop on motherhood from Allie Horton (Lindsay Arnold), who’ll likely hear about Ben’s worries and trust that it’ll all work out in time.
Johnny DiMera (Carson Boatman) will also make progress on the spooky movie he’s making. He’ll start reworking the story and assembling his cast, but Chanel will still fret over the possession-centric flick.
After Abigail DiMera (Marci Miller) is offered the starring role in Johnny’s movie, she’ll debate with Chad about whether she should take it.
Chad won’t get why Abigail’s even interested in this, but Abigail will have her reasons when it comes to her potential involvement.
During the week of October 4-8, Abigail will finally make her choice. She’ll reveal to Johnny whether she’s willing to bring young Marlena to life in this film, so Johnny will be eager to hear her answer.
As for EJ and Chad, Days spoilers say they’ll get into a fierce argument. That could involve personal matters, business matters or both!
The hostility between Chad and EJ has been getting worse lately, so this is on the verge of turning into a full-blown brother war.
Other Days spoilers say Ava Vitali will deliver the goods to Philip Kiriakis (Jay Kenneth Johnson).
Philip will need some Jake and Gabi Hernandez DiMera (Camila Banus) leverage, so this should be where Ava’s hitman revelation comes in.
Jake indeed used to kill people for the mob, so Philip will ultimately become privy to that information through former mob boss Ava.
It won’t be long until Philip’s using the info to mess with Jake and Gabi’s romance, but they won’t give up on Philip’s takedown.
Elsewhere, Lani Price (Sal Stowers) will share a touching moment with Paulina, so this could be when Paulina asks Lani to be her maid of honor.
We know that request is on the way thanks to a fall preview video the show offered.
After Abe Carver (James Reynolds) pops the question and gets Paulina’s resounding yes, it’ll be time to lock in some wedding plans.
Paulina would be thrilled if Lani would stand beside her as her maid of honor, but Chanel’s going to find the snub rather hurtful.
