General Hospital (GH) spoilers update for the week of September 27-October 1 teases that Nikolas Cassadine’ (Marcus Coloma) dangerous last resort will create problems while Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart) finds himself drunk and in love. Monica Quartermaine (Leslie Charleson) will also fear that Jason Morgan’s (Steve Burton) heart hurts and will wish she could help.
For starters, Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy) will realize Brook Lynn Quartermaine (Amanda Setton) hasn’t heard the incredible news of Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) survival.
When Joss finds Brook Lynn and Maxie Jones (Kirsten Storms) together at Charlie’s Pub, she’ll drop the “Sonny is alive” bomb and leave Brook Lynn gaping in shock!
Meanwhile, Harrison Chase (Josh Swickard) will try to guide Hamilton Finn (Michael Easton) down the path to romance – and Terry Randolph (Cassandra James) will have some romantic advice for Elizabeth Baldwin (Rebecca Herbst), too.
With any luck, maybe Liz and Finn can inch toward couple status.
After Liesl Obrecht (Kathleen Gati) angers Victor Cassadine (Charles Shaughnessy) with that knife she threatened him with, she’ll get a downgrade when it comes to her living arrangements.
That’s why Liesl will wind up crossing paths with Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison) in that crummy jail.
Obrecht will land in the same cell, so she’ll tell Drew all about how Victor and Peter August (Wes Ramsey) stole him away from his old life. Speaking of old lives, Sonny will focus on getting back to his own.
Sonny will acknowledge that he indeed found love with Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) as “Mike,” but he’s Sonny again and will want to concentrate on his love for Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright).
Carly and Jason will sense that Sonny’s on edge, so they’ll decide not to pile on anything else – like the fact that they declared their love and actually meant their marriage vows.
While Jason and Carly keep that secret, Willow Tait (Katelyn MacMullen) and Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell) will enjoy living at the Quartermaine gatehouse with Wiley Quartermaine-Corinthos (Erik and Theo Olson).
There’ll be some cute family moments that serve as a reminder of how lucky they all are.
A trip to the U.S. Consulate in Crete will lead Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) and Valentin to Chloe Jennings’ (Phoebe Kuhlman) hospital room.
The nurse has become the patient due to an accident following her escape, so Chloe may not be conscious for a grilling session.
Valentin and Anna will probably kill some time at a bar or a hotel suite, so that may be when a tipsy Valentin makes a bold move.
Perhaps Valentin will steal a smooch or say something poetic in hopes of sweeping Anna off her feet.
Over with Nikolas, he’ll think there’s only one plan that can ensure Ava Jerome’s (Maura West) safety.
Could Nikolas decide to set a trap and try to kill the stalker? That could bring some danger since this is all a plot cooked up by Esme Prince (Avery Kirsten Pohl) and Spencer Cassadine (Nicholas Chavez).
However, Ava will catch Kevin Collins (Jon Lindstrom) off guard and may warn him that Nikolas is resorting to drastic measures again.
Nikolas will ultimately get cornered and run out of options as Ava gets the final word.
Ava won’t think there’s any path forward that keeps Avery Corinthos (Ava and Grace Scarola) safe other than moving across the globe.
Fortunately, Trina Robinson (Sydney Mikayla) will have a brilliant idea on how to catch Esme and Spencer.
Esme will get Cameron Webber’s (William Lipton) assistance to kick off that scheme, but Esme’s sneaky move could create problems.
Josslyn will face a shocker that’s likely related to Esme, so it’s no surprise that they’ll clash big time in the week ahead.
GH fans will see Josslyn’s fierce side, but Esme certainly doesn’t seem scared of the feisty blonde.
Back with Brook Lynn, she’ll quiz Ned Quartermaine (Wally Kurth) about his relationship setback with Olivia Quartermaine (Lisa LoCicero).
Brook Lynn won’t get what went wrong when things were previously improving between Olivia and Ned.
Since Brook Lynn cares about Leo Falconeri (Easton Rocket Sweda) as well, Ned may mention Austin Gatlin Holt’s (Roger Howarth) push for a specialist.
Austin will also get ready for the next phase of scoring his seat at the ELQ table, but he’ll know it won’t be easy.
Finally, Monica will get updates on Sonny being back from the dead and will fret over Jason’s heartbreak.
Monica could tell Jason was genuinely happy at his wedding, but now Sonny has come home to claim his wife.
Jason and Carly have been forced to ditch the new chapter that might’ve been, so Monica will worry about how Jason’s holding up.
