Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers tease that Roman Brady (Josh Taylor) may face a bloody battle with the devil. Will Roman have a near-death experience after Marlena Evans’ (Deidre Hall) violent move?
Let’s consider some DOOL clues that could point to Roman landing in a deadly situation.
For starters, Kate Roberts (Lauren Koslow) has been dragging her feet on getting back together with Roman. He’s a great guy who happens to be crazy about Kate, so there’s no reason why they shouldn’t reunite.
Kate has been through more than enough heartbreak and is afraid of taking another risk, so she needs a way to get over that fear.
The goal here may be for Kate to nearly lose Roman and find out just how much she loves him. A near-death experience could make Kate see that she doesn’t want to live without Roman by her side.
When Roman was making his latest reunion pitch, he reminisced with Kate about their “bloody wedding.”
Kate and Roman got married back in 2003, but their time together was cut short when Roman was “murdered” soon after.
Fortunately, Roman was later revealed to be alive and well, which is no surprise in a town like Salem!
Still, it’s interesting that Roman and Kate went down deadly memory lane. It could be a hint about another deadly situation that’s in the works – and that brings us to possessed Marlena Evans (Deidre Hall).
Roman is Marlena’s ex and someone who knows her awfully well. The only person in town who knows Marlena better is John Black (Drake Hogestyn), but he’ll wind up being held hostage down the road.
What happens once John is locked up? Who will catch on and try to stop the devil’s reign of terror then?
Roman makes a lot of sense, especially based on some Days spoilers for the week of October 11-15.
That’s when John will go to Roman and seek a favor. John has been worried about Marlena lately since she’s been acting so strange.
Since John trusts Roman and knows he loves Marlena as well, this could be about getting some backup.
John might urge Roman to keep an eye on Marlena and report back to him if he sees anything out of the ordinary.
There’s also a chance John could ask Roman to pull his investment from Johnny DiMera’s (Carson Boatman) movie or something along those lines.
However, Days spoilers suggest this favor could be more significant and specifically about Marlena.
John has been known to get called away on urgent missions from time to time. The devil might even set up a fake one to get John off Marlena’s back.
It’s easy to imagine John asking Roman to look out for Marlena while he’s gone – only for the devil to take John captive without raising red flags.
In that case, it could give Roman a bigger role in Days’ possession story and lead to life-threatening injuries if he tries to expose the devil’s plan.
Marlena might launch a vicious attack due to the devil’s takeover, so that could leave Kate crying and praying for a miracle by Roman’s hospital bed.
