Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers update for the week of October 4-8 teases that Chloe Lane’s (Nadia Bjorlin) betrayal will enrage Philip Kiriakis (Jay Kenneth Johnson) – and later, death will strike Salem when Maggie Kiriakis (Suzanne Rogers) comes home with bad news. Jake DiMera’s (Brandon Barash) mob murders will also come back to haunt him, so let’s talk about what’s in store.
For starters, EJ DiMera (Dan Feurriegel) and Nicole Walker’s (Arianne Zucker) evening together will get off to a wonderful start, but some inadvertent date crashers will bring awkward moments.
Nicole and EJ will have their date at Julie’s Place – and that’s exactly where Rafe Hernandez (Galen Gering) will end up with Ava Vitali (Tamara Braun).
Later, Ava will give Philip some info regarding Jake’s hitman past.
Philip will warn Gabi Hernandez DiMera (Camila Banus) that he could have Jake thrown behind bars if she doesn’t sign over Gabi Chic, so she’ll be in a tight spot.
Jake acted like he was just an enforcer who roughed people up for payments, but it was more extreme than that.
Gabi will push Jake for the truth eventually, so Jake should admit he was a full-blown murderer when he had to be.
That’ll leave Gabi with a tough choice to make, but Philip’s week will take an irritating turn thanks to Brady Black’s (Eric Martsolf) day of fall fun with Chloe and Rachel Black (Finley Rose Slater).
Philip will rip into Chloe over this autumn outing, so he’ll no doubt feel like Brady’s trying to reel Chloe back in through his daughter.
Across town, Paulina Price (Jackee Harry) will be blown away when Abe Carver (James Reynolds) gets down on one knee and pops the question.
Abe will pull off the perfect marriage proposal with a little help from Chanel Dupree (Raven Bowens), but Chanel will cause some drama over at Lani Price-Grant (Sal Stowers) and Eli Grant’s (Lamon Archey) apartment.
It’s become a running gag for Chanel to walk in on Eli half-naked, but Lani will join the scantily clad party this time. Days spoilers say Chanel will interrupt a steamy encounter and have to apologize as usual.
As for poor Doug Williams (Bill Hayes), he’ll save Julie Williams (Susan Seaforth Hayes) from another possessed Marlena Evans (Deidre Hall) attack at the hospital.
Unfortunately, it seems Doug will get caught red-handed with the attack weapon! It seems the devil inside Marlena Evans (Deidre Hall) will spin this like Doug was the one who bashed Julie in the head with that tray.
Marlena’s sinister side will get worse in the coming episodes, so this is building to the point when the real Marlena is fully under the devil’s control.
As for the possession movie, Abigail DiMera (Marci Miller) will officially get on board to play Marlena – and Chad DiMera (Billy Flynn) will strike a deal to play John Black (Drake Hogestyn), too.
Johnny DiMera (Carson Boatman) will be thrilled over everything coming together as he prepares to start production on his flick.
In the meantime, Maggie will return to Salem with some grim updates – most likely about the death of her daughter, Summer Townsend (Marie Wilson).
Brady and Chloe will find out the news from Maggie, who’ll eventually turn her attention to worried Julie.
Days spoilers state that Maggie and Ciara Brady Weston (Victoria Konefal) will be there for Julie as she waits for word on Doug’s condition.
Ciara will also await the outcome of Ben Weston’s (Robert Scott Wilson) therapy session, which will be with a possessed Marlena and could bring some puzzling guidance.
DOOL spoilers say Ben will talk about the potential for an evil child and will ask for Marlena’s thoughts on the matter.
Next, Gwen Rizczech (Emily O’Brien) will get down in the mud for Xander Cook Kiriakis’ (Paul Telfer) sake.
Gwen’s more than willing to play dirty if it means keeping Xander out of prison.
Justin Kiriakis (Wally Kurth) will also help as the gang works to blackmail the judge into freeing Xander and Bonnie Lockhart (Judi Evans).
Days of Our Lives spoilers say the week of October 4-8 will bring some highs and lows for several Salemites, so stay tuned to DOOL.
