Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers tease that Lucas Horton (Bryan Dattilo) will face a tricky situation involving two of his exes. After Kristen DiMera (Stacy Haiduk) realizes Sami Brady DiMera (Alison Sweney) has betrayed EJ DiMera, she’ll use it to her advantage.
Sami will sneak Lucas out the morning after they’ve slept together, but Kristen will catch on and put Sami in a bind.
This will lead to a blackmail plot from Kristen, who’ll vow to blab to EJ if Sami and Lucas don’t help her handle Chloe Lane (Nadia Bjorlin). Chloe will be getting far too close to Brady Black (Eric Martsolf) for Kristen’s taste.
Since Kristen could really use some backup, she’ll hope Sami will be motivated to make something happen and keep Chloe out of Brady’s orbit.
Sami will view her night with Lucas as a mistake despite his interest in reuniting. Since Sami will be desperate to keep EJ from finding out she cheated, she’ll push Lucas to go along with her plan.
After Sami fills Lucas in on Kristen’s demands, she’ll drop another bomb on him.
Lucas will realize he’ll have to play a key role in keeping Chloe away from Brady. Although Lucas will object, Sami will feel like he’s in a unique position to take the lead.
Lucas is Chloe’s former flame, so Sami won’t think it’ll look suspicious if he simply tries to charm his way into Chloe’s heart again.
Days of Our Lives spoilers say Lucas will have serious reservations since he cares about Chloe, but he’s not in love with her. Lucas will be in a tough position since he’ll care enough about Chloe to hate that he’s manipulating her – but not so much that he legitimately wants her back.
It’ll feel wrong to mess with Chloe’s heart and emotions, but Days spoilers say Sami will insist on it. DOOL fans know Sami can be a pretty persuasive woman, so she’ll convince Lucas to get on board for her sake.
Lucas won’t want to blow up Sami’s marriage if that’s not what she wants – and she’ll indeed stand her ground on trying to keep it intact. That means Lucas will flirt with Chloe and do his best to woo her.
Lucas will try to instigate a fake reunion to pull Chloe away from Brady, so she’ll be romanced and will no doubt wonder what’s going on.
