Days of Our Lives Spoilers: Thursday, August 26 Recap – Jake’s Mafia Warning - Bonnie Sees a Ghost – Philip Threatens to Kill Brady

Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers recap for Thursday, August 26, reveals that Bonnie Lockhart (Judi Evans) saw a “ghost” while Philip Kiriakis (Jay Kenneth Johnson) threatened to kill Brady Black (Eric Martsolf) if he did anything inappropriate with Chloe Lane (Nadia Bjorlin). Jake DiMera (Brandon Barash) also offered a mafia princess warning to Gabi Hernandez DiMera (Camila Banus).

In the town square on Thursday’s Days episode, Gabi continued to taunt Ava Vitali (Tamara Braun) before ultimately sauntering away.

Ava muttered in Italian and then insisted Gabi might want to be a little more careful about who she turned her back on.

At Titan, Philip stopped Jake from leaving and said that although he respected Kate Roberts’ (Lauren Koslow) opinion, he made his own decisions.

Once Philip welcomed Jake to Titan, Jake flashed back to Gabi’s takedown plan and then said Philip wouldn’t regret this.

After Gabi showed up and learned Jake got the job, Philip said he was leaving for a few hours.

Gabi locked the door so she could do some snooping with Jake and then they rummaged around for ammunition.

When Jake heard about Gabi trying to get under Ava’s skin, he worried it was a bad idea to provoke a ruthless and brutal former mafia princess. Gabi wasn’t scared, but Jake thought maybe she should be!

At the Kiriakis mansion, Bonnie and Justin Kiriakis (Wally Kurth) sat with a giant mess all around them.

Bonnie sarcastically said that went well before they talked about Victor Kiriakis’ (John Aniston) negative reaction to the wedding, which led to a food fight.

Justin was covered in cream cheese, but he assured Bonnie that their opinions were the only ones that mattered. Justin joked that at least the wedding cake would be safe if Victor didn’t show up tomorrow.

After Justin found out Sonny Kiriakis (Zachary Atticus Tinker) wouldn’t be able to make it as his best man, Bonnie talked him into making Steve Johnson (Stephen Nichols) his best man instead.

Once Justin left to go find Steve, Bonnie looked at a picture of Adrienne Kiriakis (Judi Evans) with Justin.

Bonnie was apologetic about how she’d treated Adrienne in the past and intended to do right by her now by making Justin happy.

Suddenly, someone entered the room and left Bonnie looking like she’d seen a ghost. “I can’t believe it…you’re alive!” Bonnie exclaimed.

Days fans will soon see that Bonnie’s visitor is her former sister-in-law, Calista Lockhart (Cady Huffman), but Thursday’s DOOL episode left it a mystery.

At Rafe Hernandez’s (Galen Gering) place, he made Nicole Walker (Arianne Zucker) some awful eggs – though she couldn’t complain after the way Rafe had helped her lately.

Nicole mentioned that Gabi said she’d been on Rafe’s mind and that Rafe would want to see her.

Rafe assured Nicole that he wanted to offer support, but he felt like he should explain Gabi’s attempt to push Ava’s buttons.

Nicole was sorry for causing a fight between Rafe and Ava, but Rafe argued that it wasn’t her fault and refused to let Ava’s issues stop him from hanging out with a friend. Nicole still thought it was best if they didn’t see each for a while.

Back in the town square, Ava kept writing and deleting angry texts to Rafe. When Steve appeared, he advised against sending them and felt he owed Ava an apology.

Steve felt like maybe Ava had changed just like Bonnie had changed, so he was sorry for not being able to see past his grudge before.

Once Steve found out about Ava’s Nicole insecurities, he pointed out that being paranoid would always lead to obsession. Steve hoped those days were behind Ava and felt she should trust Rafe as well as Nicole.

Ava ultimately decided Steve was right and was grateful for the good advice. Afterward, Steve met up with Justin, who had a favor to ask and urged Steve to brace himself.

At Rafe’s house again, he was frustrated over Nicole’s unilateral decision to take a step back. Nicole insisted it was just a time-out and that she could lean on others in her support system for now.

Nicole gave Rafe a hug as he nuzzled her close, but Ava showed up and glared at them through the window.

At Basic Black, Philip showed up to take another shot at pitching a new collaboration. Brady still wasn’t interested, but he dropped a hint about the New York trip with Chloe before sauntering out.

Philip flipped out briefly since he didn’t trust Brady, but he ultimately decided it’d be good for Chloe to see Parker Jonas (Christian Ganiere) and that he could be OK with the trip.

After Brady got updates on Philip giving Chloe the green light, Philip insisted Brady was lucky to have Chloe working for him.

Chloe left to call Parker, so Philip moved in close to deliver a threat to Brady. “If you do anything inappropriate with my girlfriend in New York or anywhere else, I will kill you,” Philip warned on Thursday’s Days episode.

Days of Our Lives spoilers say Philip and Brady’s rivalry will get much worse in the coming episodes, so stay tuned.
