Days of Our Lives Spoilers: Thursday, February 11 Recap - Eli & Lani Bring Twins Home - Ciara & Ben's Romeo & Juliet Dream

Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers recap for Thursday, February 11, reveal that Kate DiMera (Lauren Koslow) and Jake DiMera (Brandon Barash) were in bed at the DiMera mansion when Kate got a call about official city news. Kate listened, then said that she’d give Abe Carver (James Reynolds) the heads-up. Kate then told Jake that his mother was alive.

Jake was puzzled, since they went to Vivian Alamain’s (Linda Dano) funeral. Kate remarked dryly that no one stays dead in Salem, and that Vivian had been in Chicago plotting her revenge against Lani Price-Grant (Sal Stowers) for shooting Stefan DiMera (Brandon Barash).

Jake looked horrified as Kate explained that Vivian’s revenge was kidnapping Lani and Eli Grant’s (Lamon Archey) twins.

Meanwhile, Lani and Eli brought the twins home to find Abe and Valerie Grant (Vanessa Williams) there to welcome them. Eli explained that Ivan Marais (Ivan G’Vera) was actually the one who stole the twins to give Vivian something to live for.

Abe got a message saying that Vivian and Ivan were arriving at the Salem PD now, and Eli headed to the station to take Vivian’s statement.

Lani and Valerie tended to the babies after Eli and Abe took off. Lani was all worried about making mistakes with little Carver Grant and Jules Grant, but Valerie calmed Lani down and offered to teach her some things.

Later, after successfully breast feeding the twins, Lani was feeling better about being a mom and was much less nervous.

At the Salem PD, Eli walked into the interrogation room to find Vivian sitting there. Vivian asked who Eli was and why she was being questioned for taking her own babies. “Jacob and Stefania need their mother,” Vivian said.

Eli wasn’t buying Vivian’s act, and he said that he knew what Vivian was up to and that it wasn’t going to work.

Eli went to the squad room, and Kate and Jake rushed in. Eli explained that Vivian was very much alive, and that she’s not herself. “She’s obviously faking it,” Kate insisted, and Kate offered to help prove that Vivian was just trying to play the police.

Eli agreed to leave things to Kate, and he took off for home. Jake asked Kate what she was going to do, and Kate said that she knew how to push Vivian’s buttons and that Jake was going to find out who his mother really was.

Back at Lani and Eli’s apartment, Eli returned to find Lani alone with the twins. Eli relayed that Vivian was acting like their babies were hers, and Lani surmised that Vivian was going for an insanity defense.

Eli said that he was leaving it up to Kate to get Vivian to crack, and Lani and Eli shared some nice moments with the twins.

Back at the police station, Kate entered the interrogation room, and Vivian pretended like Kate must be the public defender. “Knock it off,” Kate said, and then she opened the door saying, “Maybe you’ll know who this is.” Jake walked in. “Aren’t you going to say hello to your long-lost son?” Kate asked.

At Steve Johnson (Stephen Nichols) and Kayla Brady’s (Mary Beth Evans) apartment, Tripp Dalton (Lucas Adams) arrived to find Steve on the couch. Steve said that the surprise Valentine’s Day wedding was off because Jennifer Deveraux’s (Cady McClain) mother just died.

Steve said that if Jack Deveraux (Matthew Ashford) and Jennifer couldn’t stand up for them, then it wasn’t a good day for a wedding.

Just then, Steve’s phone rang, and it was Jack, who urged Steve to not put off something so important. Steve turned to Tripp and said that he could be the best man. Tripp wasn’t sure, but Steve insisted, and Tripp happily accepted the position.

Over at the hospital, Kayla talked briefly with Sarah Horton (Linsey Godfrey). Kayla said that she was headed over to the pub to meet Steve for lunch, and Sarah offered to walk with her since she was going to pick up a cake for Xander Kiriakis (Paul Telfer) for Valentine’s Day.

Kayla took off her lab coat and had a red dress on, and Kayla said that Steve liked her in red and that some things never change.

Outside the Brady Pub, Steve and Tripp were decked out in suits, ready for the surprise wedding. Steve got a call from Marlena Evans (Deidre Hall) saying that both she and John Black (Drake Hogestyn) were sick with food poisoning and couldn’t attend.

Steve lamented because Marlena was supposed to marry them, and just then Abe walked up and agreed to perform the ceremony.

A short time later, Kayla and Sarah arrived at the Brady Pub, and they walked in to find a wedding setup. “What is all this?” Kayla asked. Steve said that this was a surprise wedding, and Kayla learned that Jennifer and Jack couldn’t be there, but that Tripp was going to be best man.

Sarah offered to be the maid of honor, and they were all set.

Tripp handed Kayla a bouquet of yellow roses, and Abe started the ceremony. Steve started with some touching vows about cherishing each day together. “Sweetness, from the very first minute I laid eyes on you, you had my heart,” Steve said tenderly.

Kayla’s vows were next, saying that she could never love another man the way she loves Steve. Kayla said that she was never letting Steve go again.

After exchanging rings, Abe pronounced Steve and Kayla husband and wife, and he said that after three marriages, they knew what comes next. Steve and Kayla kissed happily.

At Ben Weston’s (Robert Scott Wilson) apartment, Ben held a Valentine’s Day card that he had purchased for Ciara Weston (Victoria Konefal). Ben said that he was going to find Ciara and bring her home.

At the place where Ciara’s being held, Ciara read Romeo & Juliet then fell asleep. In Ciara’s dream, she was Juliet while Ben was Romeo, and she dreamed about the famous love story.

In the dream, Ciara (as Juliet) went through the “wherefore art thou Romeo” speech, then she and Ben (as Romeo) fell in love. However, the story took its tragic turn when Romeo thought that Juliet was dead and drank poison himself. Then Juliet took her own life.

Ciara woke up with a start at the tragic ending of the story, very thankful that it was just a dream. “Stay alive, Ben – We both have to stay alive if I’m going to come home to you,” Ciara said to herself. Meanwhile, over at Ben’s apartment, Ben woke up from the same exact dream.
