Days of Our Lives Spoilers: Thursday, July 15 Recap – Xander Arrested – Sami’s $1 Million Deal – Brady’s Invite for Chloe

Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers for Thursday, July 15, reveals that Xander Cook Kiriakis (Paul Telfer) was arrested – and Sami Brady DiMera (Alison Sweeney) made a $1 million deal. Brady Black (Eric Martsolf) also had a surprise invite for Chloe Lane (Nadia Bjorlin), so here’s how it all played out on Thursday’s Days episode.

At DiMera Enterprises, Lucas Horton (Bryan Dattilo) reached in his coat pocket, so EJ DiMera (Dan Feurriegel) chuckled over him pulling the same move that Jake DiMera (Brandon Barash) did.

EJ wondered if Lucas had a gun, but Lucas said he didn’t have a literal one – just a smoking one.

EJ was confused, but Kate Roberts DiMera (Lauren Koslow) interrupted and assumed this was about her return to the company.

Kate figured Lucas was trying to get EJ to fire her and defended her decision to come back to DiMera Enterprises.

At Basic Black on Thursday’s DOOL episode, Chloe found out Xander and Nicole Brady (Arianne Zucker) had already left for the day.

Brady said it was just the two of them, but Philip Kiriakis (Jay Kenneth Johnson) walked in and corrected that it was just the three of them.

Philip was there since he’d given Chloe a ride and tried to talk to Brady about collaborating on a business proposal, but Brady wanted him to leave.

After Philip vowed to pick Chloe up later, he suggested it was like high school all over again – except this time, Philip got the girl.

Brady grumbled to Chloe after Philip was gone and felt like it was unnecessary for Philip to flaunt his relationship with her.

Chloe suggested focusing on work instead and found out Nicole left early because she was upset over spending her anniversary alone.

Brady hoped Eric Brady (Greg Vaughan) would wise up and put his marriage first before he lost Nicole for good.

At home on Thursday’s Days episode, Eric embraced Nicole and could tell she’d been crying. He was sorry for neglecting Nicole and their marriage, but Nicole said she was the one who was sorry.

Nicole suggested she’d lost faith and become angry as she questioned their future at times, but she’d never stopped loving Eric and never would.

Eric and Nicole were home alone, so they made love as they reconnected in the bedroom. Afterward, Nicole covered when Eric noticed she seemed worried and sad.

Nicole wanted to move past her pity party, so Eric came up with the idea of throwing together a quick anniversary party at the pub. He assured Nicole that he’d call Sami to make sure she behaved herself.

At the Horton house, Sami negotiated with Xander and got him to agree to take $1 million in exchange for singing like a canary.

Sami wanted a recorded confession about Xander and Nicole sleeping together, but she said only intended to use it if she had to.

As for the topic of Sami hitting the sheets with Lucas, she denied it when Xander brought it up. Meanwhile, Eli Grant (Lamon Archey) pushed Gwen Rizczech (Emily O’Brien) for answers at the Salem PD.

Gwen objected to Eli grilling her just because “Granny” aka Julie Williams (Susan Seaforth Hayes) pointed the finger.

Gwen assured Eli that the man on the Horton sofa was simply a passed-out drunk friend of Xander’s – one who merely looked a bit like Dr. Snyder. Gwen claimed Xander never mentioned the guy’s name to her.

Since Gwen knew Eli didn’t have anything to hold her on, she rushed home to tell Xander that Eli was onto them.

Sami left, so Gwen filled Xander in on her conversation with Eli and bickered with him once again about his corpse disposal failure.

Soon after, Eli arrived to question Xander. He wanted the name and contact info of Xander’s friend so that he could corroborate the story, but Xander acted like he wanted to respect his friend’s privacy.

Eli threatened to haul Xander down to the station and felt confident he could make something stick.

Xander would up shoving Eli off screen, so he was arrested and handcuffed to the desk in the interrogation room when fans saw him next.

Eli pushed Xander to sit there and chill until he was ready to tell him everything he knew about Dr. Snyder’s death.

Back with Sami, she had a briefcase full of money when she took a call from Eric in the town square.

Eric invited Sami to the anniversary bash, but he only wanted his sister there if she could be supportive. After Sami hung up, she declared that Nicole the “lying slut” was going to pay for this!

Philip joined Lucas at the pub, where he learned about the blackmail situation Lucas helped Sami with.

Lucas admitted to sleeping with Sami twice and revealed that he got his hands on the incriminating letter Kristen DiMera (Stacy Haiduk) wrote.

After Lucas admitted he almost showed that letter to EJ, he was glad Kate interrupted since Sami never would’ve forgiven him. Philip decided Lucas was the better match for Sami and wanted to help his brother.

Philip felt that Lucas had to play dirty like EJ and blow up his rival’s marriage. Philip suggested letting someone else use the letter and making sure it couldn’t be traced back to Lucas.

At DiMera Enterprises, EJ thought he knew what was going on between Lucas and Sami. He felt confident Sami’s involvement with her ex didn’t go beyond their children, but he suspected Lucas was falling for Sami again.

While EJ explained his suspicions to Kate, Brady got a text from Eric about the anniversary bash happening now at the pub. He asked Chloe if she wanted to come with him.

In bed at home, Eric assured Nicole that she deserved a blowup party. Nicole was so glad to have Eric home, but she had to ask if he was back for good. Eric offered a somewhat sad smile in response.

We’ll offer updates as other Days news becomes available. Days of Our Lives spoilers say Nicole and Eric’s anniversary shindig will bring some explosive moments.
