Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers for Thursday, May 27, tease that Kate Roberts DiMera (Lauren Koslow) will pull off a bogus blindness plot while Kristen DiMera (Stacy Haiduk) makes a final plea to Chad DiMera (Billy Flynn).
Gabi Hernandez DiMera (Camila Banus) will also face off with Ava Vitali (Tamara Braun), so let’s talk about what’s in store.
First, Days spoilers say Kate will decide to get sneaky after waking up from her medically induced coma. She’ll pretend to have partial amnesia – apparently so she can act like she doesn’t remember seeing Jake DiMera (Brandon Barash) with Gabi in bed.
Kate will carry on like she’s still a couple with Jake, which will be important considering what comes next.
Days of Our Lives spoilers say Kate will fake going blind as well, so she’ll pull Jake closer through this phony medical crisis with a goal in mind.
Kate will want to make both Jake and Gabi miserable, so she’ll make Jake think she needs him more than ever. It’ll put Gabi and Jake’s romance on hold, so Kate will enjoy their suffering.
Of course, DOOL writers may not reveal that Kate’s faking right away! This could be a shocker that’s revealed in the coming episode, but it’ll indeed be revealed to viewers eventually.
In the meantime, Jake will react to Kate’s pretend anguish and will step up to support her. Kate will pretend not to see Jake and Gabi kiss in her hospital room before she launches this scheme of hers.
As for Gabi, she’ll have quite a showdown with Ava. Gabi will likely find out Ava and Rafe Hernandez (Galen Gering) are getting too close for comfort – at least as far as Gabi’s concerned.
Although Gabi may voice her disapproval, Ava should point out that it’s none of Gabi’s business who her brother chooses to date.
Other Days of Our Lives spoilers say Nicole Brady (Arianne Zucker) will have a tough time explaining away her presence in Xander Kiriakis’ (Paul Telfer) hotel room.
Since Xander is demanding a job at Basic Black, perhaps Nicole will argue that she came there to make Xander a job offer. Rafe’s bound to wonder why Nicole would do a thing like that!
No matter how Nicole tries to spin this, Rafe will remain suspicious as he exits. As for Nicole, it seems she’ll have no choice but to talk Brady into giving Xander a new position.
Over with Chad, he’ll put Kristen on full blast for how she treated both Kate and Chloe Lane (Nadia Bjorlin). After Chad chews Kristen out, she’ll deliver a heartfelt plea and hope her brother’s willing to do her one last favor.
That favor may tie in with Kristen’s getaway strategy since it looks like the Thursday, May 27 episode will wrap up Stacy Haiduk’s current stint.
Kristen’s life has completely imploded, so she’ll want to escape from police custody and find a new path forward now that Brady Black (Eric Martsolf) has dumped her.
Maybe Kristen will hope to have the DiMera jet waiting for her when the time comes. Meanwhile, Marlena Evans (Deidre Hall) will hug the real Susan Banks (Stacy Haiduk), who’ll finally be released from Statesville.
Susan will confront Kristen in the interrogation room later, but Kristen is set to get the upper hand and make a break for it.
Days spoilers say Susan will apparently wind up taking a blow to the head, so it seems Kristen will attack Susan and flee while Rafe’s tending to her along with Ava. Kristen will be back down the road, but she’ll make a bigger mess in the meantime!
