Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers recap for Thursday, November 4, reveals that DA Melinda Trask (Tina Huang) stole Xander Cook Kiriakis’ (Paul Telfer) money by delivering a threat while Abigail DiMera (Marci Miller) scored medical record proof and confronted Gwen Rizczech (Emily O’Brien).
At the Kiriakis mansion, Victor Kiriakis (John Aniston) wasn’t happy to learn “dime-store Dolly Parton” aka Bonnie Lockhart (Judi Evans) walked free along with Justin Kiriakis (Wally Kurth).
After Victor grumbled a bit, Justin insisted he wanted to pick up where he left off with Bonnie. He proposed the idea of getting married today in the mansion – just like they’d planned before.
At the Salem PD, Xander and Gwen were excited about getting off the hook. Xander reminded DA Trask that they had unfinished business and brought up his briefcase full of cash, so she told him to come back in an hour or two once the paperwork was done.
Over at the pub, Jack Deveraux (Matthew Ashford) expressed his gratitude to Steve Johnson (Stephen Nichols) for making sure Gwen and Bonnie were part of the deal. For what it was worth, Jack truly believed Gwen was done with all the secrets and lies.
At the Horton house on Thursday’s Days episode, Xander talked to Gwen about their island getaway plans. He soon decided he was so crazy for Gwen that he had to have her right then and there.
Xander took his shirt off and started unbuttoning Gwen’s shirt as well, but Gwen shoved him off when a shocked Jack walked in the living room.
Jack was sorry for interrupting, but Gwen was glad to see him and pulled him into a warm hug. After Jack proposed a toast, he shared an Irish blessing and hoped this could be a clean slate.
Xander then headed back to the police station to see about getting his money back.
As for Jack, he talked to Gwen about her official relationship with Xander. When Jack offered his approval, Gwen thanked him and called him “Dad.”
Gwen was sorry for letting it slip out, but Jack admitted he’d been waiting for months to hear Gwen call him that.
At the hospital on Thursday’s DOOL episode, Abigail told Kayla Johnson (Mary Beth Evans) that she wasn’t buying Gwen’s story.
Abigail just didn’t see why Gwen would let Dr. Clay Snyder (Mike Manning) blackmail her into running drugs because of a prostitute secret.
Since Abigail suspected Gwen was hiding something else, Kayla agreed to let her take a look around Dr. Snyder’s office.
Any patient info had already been retrieved, so all that was left in there was Dr. Snyder’s personal effects.
In the Salem PD interrogation room, Chad DiMera (Billy Flynn) delivered a letter that revealed EJ DiMera (Dan Feuerriegel) couldn’t serve as Kristen DiMera’s (Stacy Haiduk) attorney.
Although EJ had arranged for another top-notch lawyer, it wouldn’t be a good look for DiMera Enterprises if he represented Kristen himself.
Kristen complained since her future was on the line, but she was grateful to Chad for bringing the news and being there for her.
Afterward, DA Trask taunted Kristen about how she’d be going away for a “very, very long time.”
Trask wanted Kristen to know she was the one making it happen and thought it served Kristen right to be separated from her daughter.
When Chad caught up with Abigail, he helped her search through Dr. Snyder’s office. Chad found a book with a paper inside, so Abigail quickly realized it was Gwen’s old medical record.
As Abigail read through it, she learned Gwen drove herself to the hospital 20 minutes after experiencing sharp abdominal pain.
Chad was confused since Gwen took an ambulance, but Abigail pointed out the record didn’t mention anything about Gwen’s fall down the stairs. She also noticed the time of the examination and saw that it took place hours before the argument they had.
Abigail had a lightbulb moment and determined that Gwen must’ve had the miscarriage before their staircase showdown.
Back at the Horton house, Jack told Gwen that she was his daughter and nothing would ever change his love for her.
Gwen thanked “Dad” again and hugged him just before Abigail barged in with Chad. Jack suggested they were just in time to join the celebration, but Abigail declared that the party was over!
At the police station, Xander got DA Trask to prove all the cash was still in his briefcase. He had big plans for his $1 million, but Trask snapped the briefcase shut.
The DA said Xander wouldn’t be spending a penny since he was going to give to her instead. If Xander didn’t, then Trask vowed to blow his girlfriend’s life sky high.
At the Kiriakis mansion again, Steve and Kayla showed up to fulfill their matron of honor and best man duties.
Maggie Kiriakis (Suzanne Rogers) offered to officiate, so she led Bonnie and Justin through their vows.
When Victor tried objecting on Thursday’s Days episode, Justin shut him down and ultimately kissed the bride.
Bonnie and Justin were on cloud nine as Maggie pronounced them husband and wife.
