Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers for Tuesday, January 5, tease that Allie Horton (Lindsay Arnold) will feel uneasy after her latest encounter with Charlie Dale (Mike Manning). Allie was on her way out when Charlie said something Allie seemed to recognize: “Arrivederci.”
That’s likely what Charlie said as he was leaving Allie’s apartment after the attack in London – and Allie may be remembering that now.
Allie will head off to see Marlena Evans (Deidre Hall) for her therapy session and will mention how Charlie’s comment triggered something for her. At this point, it appears Allie will view it as a strange coincidence.
Allie won’t put all the pieces together, but she’ll fill Marlena in on what she recalls and start pondering a few more questions about that night.
Meanwhile, Tripp Dalton (Lucas Adams) will put up posters as he continues his efforts to find Ava Vitali (Tamara Braun). Days spoilers say Tripp will be placing one outside the pub when Roman Brady (Josh Taylor) spots him.
Roman will rip into Tripp over Allie’s assault, but Tripp will stand by his innocence and hope that the truth comes out eventually.
Later, Allie will run into Tripp, who’ll bring up Steve Johnson’s (Stephen Nichols) theory that perhaps a relative of Tripp’s came along and assaulted Allie. Tripp will know it sounds far-fetched, but he’ll also insist that it would explain the DNA evidence.
Other Days of Our Lives spoilers say Steve and John Black (Drake Hogestyn) will track down someone who could help crack the case. John and Steve will corner Angelo Vitali (Angelo Tiffe) at a small café, which might be used as one of the many ways the Vitali clan launders money.
Cousin Angelo knows all about Ava and her family connections. Although Angelo won’t want to talk at first, Steve and John will put plenty of pressure on him. Since John’s emotions are awfully intense these days, he’ll be especially threatening during this conversation.
Angelo will eventually confess that Ava has another son named Charlie, so Steve and John will start solving the puzzle. They might even get Angelo to admit Charlie was in London at the same time as Allie – and that Charlie’s in Salem right now.
Tuesday’s DOOL episode will also bring the rest of Abigail DiMera’s (Marci Miller) confrontation with Gwen Rizczech (Emily O’Brien) – but first, Chad DiMera (Billy Flynn) will have to wiggle out of a tight spot.
Once Gwen admitted she lied about Abigail and Jake DiMera (Brandon Barash) kissing, Chad was stunned and insisted if he’d known that, then he wouldn’t have…
Now Abigail’s waiting for Chad to finish his sentence, so it’ll soon come out that Gwen spent the night with Abby’s husband. However, what Chad and Gwen did during that night together will remain under wraps for now. Abigail may be led to believe that Chad simply passed out drunk while Gwen stayed with him.
Days of Our Lives spoilers say Abigail will shout that she doesn’t want Gwen anywhere near her or her kids ever again. Gwen will get fired and thrown out of the DiMera mansion, but she’ll try to blackmail her way into sticking around.
Gwen will talk to Chad privately afterward and argue that if he wants their steamy hotel session to stay quiet, then he’ll talk Abigail into letting her stay in the house.
Of course, we should note that Gwen will convince Abigail that Chad slept with her next week. That could mean that Abigail simply won’t believe Gwen initially, but it could also mean that Gwen’s bending the truth. It’s possible Chad couldn’t quite perform when the time came despite how things looked in the aftermath.
Regardless, Chad believes this was full-blown cheating – and it was bad either way considering Chad begged Gwen to make him forget and was undressed in bed with her.
For the time being, Gwen will hold sleeping together over Chad’s head and continue trying to wreak havoc. We’ll offer updates as other DOOL news rolls in.
