Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers for Tuesday, May 11, reveals that Gabi Hernandez DiMera (Camila Banus) got a phone call, which interrupted her close moment with Jake DiMera (Brandon Barash).
Philip Kiriakis (Jay Kenneth Johnson) needed Gabi to help deal with a Gabi Chic crisis, so Gabi wound up at his place and learned the summer designs had been made using the wrong measurements.
Gabi freaked when she opened the shipment and pulled out the tiny clothes inside. There were thousands of hot summer styles that Philip felt were now useless, but Gabi had a brilliant idea.
She suggested that parents would be willing to pay top dollar to buy fancy doll clothes for their kids. Gabi thought they could sell dolls as well and said “move over Barbie” since Gabi Chica was on the way.
Philip loved Gabi’s suggestion and pulled her into a hug, which brought a hint of desire between them. However, Philip insisted that they already established they shouldn’t do this.
Philip reminded Gabi that she was hung up on Jake, but Gabi argued that she was “way over that lunkhead” and pointed out Jake was probably drinking himself into oblivion over “Kate Roberts DiMera” (Lauren Koslow) leaving town.
Philip hadn’t heard, so he decided he’d better call his mom. Before Gabi left, Philip thanked her for taking a huge loss and turning it into a major win.
At the police station, Rafe Hernandez (Galen Gering) ripped into Xander Kiriakis (Paul Telfer) over all the reports they’d gotten due to his drunken attempts to sell Sarah Horton’s (Linsey Godfrey) engagement ring.
Xander tried to tell Rafe his sob story on Tuesday’s Days of Our Lives episode, but Rafe had a date to go on and was eager to leave. Since Rafe was in a good mood, he let Xander off with a warning.
Afterward, Xander continued to drown his sorrows at the pub. He could tell Jake had lost the love of a good woman since he was also drinking at the bar, so Jake admitted he’d lost two women.
Jake beat himself up over not accepting that he belonged with Gabi sooner. Xander felt they were both bad boys and advised Jake to keep his walls up. He encouraged Xander to hurt Gabi before she had a chance to hurt him before Jake took off.
Later, Gabi home to find Jake drinking at the DiMera mansion. Jake confessed that Gabi and Kate were right all along about him wanting to be with Gabi. He just didn’t want to hurt Kate and was too proud to admit he wanted Gabi until now.
Jake told Gabi that he wanted her and only her, but he then decided this was pointless since Gabi said she moved on.
“I didn’t move on,” Gabi said as she reached out to grab Jake’s arm. Gabi confessed her pride had been getting in the way as well, but she assured Jake that she wanted him.
That led to some messy kissing as Gabi and Jake headed upstairs. Once they were in the bedroom, Jake and Gabi couldn’t get enough of each other as they finally hit the sheets!
At home on Tuesday’s Days of Our Lives episode, Nicole Brady (Arianne Zucker) gave Ava Vitali (Tamara Braun) advice on her outfit and assured Ava that she’d be happy if two of her friends were happy together.
Ava dashed off for her date with Rafe right as Nicole took a call from Eric Brady (Greg Vaughan), who admitted he’d be extending his time in Africa.
Although Nicole knew Eric’s mission work was important, she felt like Eric was forgetting about her and was furious. Nicole hung up on Eric and ignored his next call before heading to the pub.
That’s where Nicole found Xander, who offered her a drink and suggested she should tell her “favorite ex-husband” what’s got her down.
Nicole was reluctant to divulge anything to Xander, who said he always preferred her quiet anyway. Nicole eventually admitted that Eric was staying in Africa and that she didn’t know when he’d return. Xander felt they had to “reembrace the dark side,” but Nicole just knew she needed another drink.
Later, the waitress cut them off and left them wandering through the town square in a drunken state. Xander had a mini bar in his room and invited Nicole to join him, so she decided to take him up on the offer since she liked those teeny-tiny bottles.
At the hospital, Sami Brady DiMera (Alison Sweeney) determined that “Kate” wasn’t really Kate and tried to convince Lucas Horton (Bryan Dattilo) that it was just another one of Kristen DiMera’s (Stacy Haiduk) disguises.
Lucas was skeptical, even after they confronted “Kate.” He wondered where his mom was if “Kate” was actually Kristen.
In Brady Black’s (Eric Martsolf) hospital room, “Kate” tried to cover her concern for him and suggested Chloe Lane (Nadia Bjorlin) should be with Lucas since he was dying. Chloe insisted Lucas wasn’t dying after all and made it clear that she belonged there with Brady.
Although Brady once again tried to mumble a Kristen explanation, Chloe pushed him to just rest. As for Kristen, she removed her Kate disguise elsewhere and ranted about conniving Chloe trying to take her place.
Kristen refused to let that happen – and then she showed up in Brady’s hospital room dressed in a surgical gown, cap and mask.
On Ava’s date with Rafe, she called him out for being quiet. Rafe confessed to being nervous since he hadn’t been on a date in a while. Ava admitted she didn’t think she’d ever been on a date at all.
Ava brought up her Steve Johnson (Stephen Nichols) obsession and how she’d been set up with Charlie Dale’s (Mike Manning) father, so all of that prevented a normal dating life.
Rafe felt like they should ignore their romantic histories and make this night about them. Ava took Rafe’s hand and admitted she would love that. After cracking some jokes about dessert, Ava left Rafe to order them some chocolate cake while she went to freshen up.
Rafe saw that he had a missed call and voicemail from Nicole when he checked his phone.
Days of Our Lives spoilers say the rest of this date will come with some drama, so DOOL fans will want to stay tuned!
In the meantime on Tuesday’s Days episode, Sami spied Nicole and Xander heading in the Salem Inn together. “What the hell was that?” a suspicious Sami wondered aloud.
