Days of Our Lives Spoilers: Tuesday, October 26 Recap – Kristen Sneaks In for Rachel – Rafe Warns Gabi Dump Jake

Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers recap for Tuesday, October 26, reveals that Kristen DiMera (Stacy Haiduk) decided to sneak in for Rachel Black (Finley Rose Slater) while Paulina Price (Jackée Harry) expressed her desire for revenge. Rafe Hernandez (Galen Gering) also warned Gabi Hernandez DiMera (Camila Banus) to dump Jake DiMera (Brandon Barash), so let’s talk about all Tuesday’s action.

In the town square, Chloe Lane (Nadia Bjorlin) found Nicole Walker (Arianne Zucker) looking glum over Abe Carver’s (James Reynolds) shooting, but Nicole felt a bit better after making a call and getting some positive updates.

Chloe also brought Nicole up to speed on her fight with Philip Kiriakis (Jay Kenneth Johnson) for punching Brady Black (Eric Martsolf).

When Nicole ignored a phone call from EJ DiMera (Dan Feuerriegel), Chloe called her out on how mysterious she was being about it.

Nicole ultimately came clean about doing something underhanded since she helped Steve hack EJ’s phone – though she didn’t feel guilty about what might happen to Kristen.

As for Nicole’s decision to go on some dates with EJ, she admitted she needed the distraction since she couldn’t get Rafe off her mind.

Chloe worried about EJ learning Nicole double-crossed him, but Nicole thought maybe EJ would understand. She hoped EJ wouldn’t even find out and was on board with seeing where things might lead with EJ again.

Nicole decided she should pay EJ a visit at the mansion since he left her a message about a dinner do-over.

Chloe wondered if Nicole was just going to show up without calling, but Nicole insisted that EJ loved surprises.

Next on Tuesday’s Days episode, EJ was stunned when Kristen showed up at the mansion out of the blue. He wondered what she was doing there, so Kristen said there was something she had to do.

After Kristen slapped EJ, she ranted about how she risked everything to tell him about Sami Brady DiMera’s (Alison Sweeney) betrayal.

Kristen said Steve traced her location through the phone number she gave her brother, so EJ quickly realized what happened.

Kristen fumed after EJ explained since he left his phone alone with those “do-gooders” Steve Johnson (Stephen Nichols) and Kayla Johnson (Mary Beth Evans). She felt confident it was a setup.

EJ confessed Kayla and Steve weren’t exactly alone, but he called the other person at the table a business associate and acted like that person was duped by Steve.

Kristen warned EJ that he’d better hide her and swore on her daughter’s life that she’d take EJ down with her if he didn’t.

EJ argued that he could only offer the secret room, but Kristen complained it wasn’t much of a secret anymore. EJ suggested that was Kristen’s fault and felt like Steve would come knocking on their door soon.

Kristen explained that she left a bogus trail to keep Steve busy for months, so EJ agreed to set his sister up with some bedding in the wine cellar.

When Kristen started to leave the house, EJ objected. He found out Kristen was headed to Brady’s place and said she could get caught, but Kristen vowed to avoid exposure.

Kristen didn’t come all this way to not see Rachel. She insisted her little girl was all she had to live for and wanted to look at Rachel for a moment while she slept.

EJ realized he wasn’t going to talk Kristen out of it, so he reluctantly let her go. Soon after, Nicole showed up at the door. After EJ answered, he smirked and told Nicole he was just thinking about her.

At the hospital on Tuesday’s DOOL episode, Paulina told Maggie Kiriakis (Suzanne Rogers) that her daughter was in with Abe now – though she quickly corrected herself and said it was her niece instead.

Maggie brushed off the blunder since Paulina had been through a lot. When Paulina talked about her desire for revenge on Abe’s shooter, Maggie convinced her to focus on Abe’s recovery instead.

At the Kiriakis mansion on Tuesday’s Days episode, Philip and Ava Vitali (Tamara Braun) talked about the cops picking up Jake for Abe’s shooting. They discussed how this screwed up their plan since Gabi wouldn’t sign over Gabi Chic if Jake was already in jail.

Carmine Merlino (Richard Stevens) waltzed in moments later and revealed that he was behind the shooting. He claimed the gun just went off and didn’t think it was his fault that Abe caught a bullet.

The way Carmine saw it, this was Ava and Philip’s problem. Carmine urged the two of them to hide him at the Kiriakis mansion until all this blew over and went to the bathroom while they discussed it.

Philip argued that Ava had experience making people disappear and pushed her to handle this on her own.

After Philip left, Carmine rejoined Ava and learned she’d be making arrangements for him. Ava thought Carmine was being awfully smug for a hired goon, so she insisted she could still squash him like a bug.

At the Salem PD, Rafe told Jake and Gabi that Abe was “technically dead,” but then he explained Abe was revived after flatlining.

Gabi defended Jake and argued that Rafe had nothing on him, but Rafe thought he had plenty since Jake’s fingerprints were on the gun at the crime scene.

Jake decided to tell the whole story, so he came clean about Philip’s desire for dirt and how he convinced Carmine to go on record with bogus murder claims.

After Jake revealed that Carmine wrestled the gun away and shot Abe, Rafe admitted there was another set of fingerprints on the gun.

Rafe suggested that Jake’s story might check out, but that didn’t mean Jake was off the hook. Jake still brought a loaded gun and a mobster to the park, so Rafe acted like he could find something to charge Jake with.

Regardless, Rafe felt like Gabi would dump Jake if she knew what was good for her.

Gabi was outraged considering Rafe was shacked up with Jake’s former mob boss. She argued that Ava was up to her neck in this since she gave Philip the info on Jake.

At the townhouse, Lucas Horton (Bryan Dattilo) showed up to confront Brady about going in the Salem Inn with Chloe and her suitcases. Brady didn’t think this was any of Lucas’ business, but he assured him that nothing happened with Chloe.

Lucas still felt like Brady was taking advantage of the distance between Chloe and Philip, but Brady thought Philip should “man up” and fight his own battles. As the conflict escalated, Brady finally threw Lucas out.

Once Brady was alone, he realized he had to warn Chloe that Philip still thought they were sleeping together.

When Brady went to get his phone from the other room, Kristen snuck in the front door. Back with Philip, he surprised Chloe by showing up on her doorstep as well.
