Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers update for Tuesday, January 5, tease that Chad DiMera (Billy Flynn) won’t reveal the whole truth – or at least the truth as he knows it! Abigail DiMera (Marci Miller) will push Chad to reveal what he just hinted at.
Chad was floored when Gwen Rizczech (Emily O’Brien) confessed to making up the story about Abigail and Jake DiMera (Brandon Barash) kissing, so he’s got a lot riding on what he says next.
Gwen might pipe up to insist that Chad was with her all night, but she may also cover for Chad on the cheating part. There’s always some new angle for Gwen to work, so she might realize she needs leverage now.
Days spoilers say Abigail will dismiss Gwen from her nanny duties and tell her to get out of the DiMera mansion. She’ll want Gwen out of her sight ASAP.
Of course, Gwen would rather stay in the house and cause more problems, especially since she has nowhere else to go. As a result, Gwen will use the betrayal secret to her advantage.
Since it won’t come out that Chad and Gwen slept together right now, Gwen will demand to remain under the same roof – that is if Chad wants to keep Abigail in the dark on their steamy bedroom encounter!
Based on upcoming Days of Our Lives spoilers, there’s a new question of just how steamy things got. It certainly seemed like Chad slept with Gwen, but sometimes things aren’t always as they seem on soaps. Chad was awfully drunk, so he might’ve crashed before he could actually get the job done.
That could become an important detail if Gwen claims she’s pregnant later, but for now Chad will believe he went all the way with Gwen whether that’s true or not.
While Chad mulls over how to handle Gwen’s blackmail threat, Tripp Dalton (Lucas Adams) will take to the streets with his missing mom posters.
Tripp doesn’t believe Ava Vitali (Tamara Braun) would willingly bail on him, so he’ll be determined to track her down. Roman Brady (Josh Taylor) will have a run-in with Tripp, who’ll be placing a poster near the pub in Tuesday’s DOOL episode.
That’ll lead to Tripp facing more backlash over Allie Horton’s (Lindsay Arnold) assault, but he’ll repeat his claims that he never forced himself on Allie.
Although Roman won’t believe that, Steve Johnson (Stephen Nichols) and John Black’s (Drake Hogestyn) mission will ultimately change Roman’s mind and several others in Salem.
Days of Our Lives spoilers say “Cousin Angelo” Vitali (Angelo Tiffe) will be confronted at some tiny restaurant – one that probably allows the Vitali clan to wash some of their money.
Angelo may wonder why he should even bother talking to Steve and John, but John won’t be afraid to get nasty. DOOL viewers know John has a terrible temper thanks to his brain aneurysm complications, so Angelo could find himself a bit scared soon enough.
Once John and Steve make it clear that they’re not leaving without answers, Angelo will start talking. Days of Our Lives spoilers say Angelo will eventually make a confession about Ava’s other son – Tripp’s half-brother, Charlie Dale (Mike Manning).
Steve might wonder if Charlie was in London not this past Christmas but the one before. Angelo might admit that Charlie was following Tripp back then and that Charlie landed in Salem later.
John and Steve will put all the hints together to form a shocking realization: that the Charlie who assaulted Allie is now Claire Brady’s (Isabel Durant) boyfriend.
Next, Allie will pay Marlena Evans (Deidre Hall) a visit for her therapy session. Marlena will probably sense that Allie has something specific on her mind, so she’ll encourage her granddaughter to confide in her.
This is a safe space for Allie to divulge whatever she needs to, so she may talk about her reaction to Charlie saying “arrivederci.”
Allie definitely looked weirded out, but she may not be certain why until she works through this with Marlena. Charlie probably said the same thing to Allie after he attacked her and waltzed out in London.
Allie may have a memory flash of her assaulter telling her “arrivederci,” but it doesn’t look like she’ll suspect Charlie’s the culprit just yet.
However, Allie will be more open to the idea that someone else might’ve committed the crime soon. Days spoilers say Tripp will spot Allie in the park later, so he’ll take this opportunity to offer updates on Steve’s theory.
Once Allie opens her mind to the idea that Tripp’s relative might’ve assaulted her, it’ll lead her down the path to hypnosis.
