Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers update for Wednesday, January 6, teases that Tripp Dalton (Lucas Adams) will bring Allie Horton (Lindsay Arnold) up to speed on Steve Johnson’s (Stephen Nichols) theory and his attempt to prove it. Allie managed to catch the last part of Tripp’s phone message, but she’s clearly confused about what’s going on.
In Tripp’s voicemail, he was hopeful that Steve got “Cousin Angelo” Vitali (Angelo Tiffe) to come clean about assaulting Allie. Once Allie realizes Angelo has somehow become a suspect, she may think Tripp needs to give it a rest.
Allie may have been drunk, but she at least knows the guy who forced himself on her wasn’t a big, older man like Angelo!
However, Tripp may suggest Allie shouldn’t get so focused on Angelo as the only possibility. He’ll hope that Steve can figure out which relative might’ve attacked Allie in London, even if it was someone else.
The more Allie thinks about the idea that someone besides Tripp might’ve raped her, the more she’ll want to know the truth.
Allie will return to Marlena Evans (Deidre Hall) in the coming episodes and push for a hypnosis session. Until then, Marlena will speak with a mourning Ben Weston (Robert Scott Wilson).
When Ben lost Ciara Brady Weston (Victoria Konefal), his whole world shattered. Ben’s doing his best to figure out a new life for himself, but it’s tough since his heart still aches for Ciara.
While Marlena’s helping Ben work through his grief, a call will bring some shocking news. That call will be from John Black (Drake Hogestyn), who’ll have put all the Charlie Dale (Mike Manning) pieces together with Steve’s help.
Days of Our Lives spoilers say John will deliver a warning about Charlie and accuse him of being the man behind Allie’s assault.
Since Charlie is dating Claire Brady (Isabel Durant), she obviously needs to be warned immediately. John won’t want Claire anywhere near the monster who hurt Allie, so Marlena will insist she’s on it. Ben will be brought in the loop, so he’ll resolve to help find Claire and get her out of this dangerous situation.
While Ben and Marlena kick off their search, Charlie will be prepared to heat things up with Claire back at her place. Charlie rejected Claire’s suggestion about hanging out at his apartment – and Days fans know why!
Charlie couldn’t exactly bring Claire home for lovemaking when his mother is drugged up and being held captive in there.
That’s why Charlie suggested Claire’s home instead – and as luck would have it, Belle Black (Martha Madison) and Shawn Brady (Brandon Beemer) are still on their honeymoon. Charlie will think they should take full advantage of this opportunity to be alone.
Claire will be thrilled after Charlie confesses how much he wants her. They’ll start dropping clothes for lovemaking and get on the bed, but Ben will come rushing through the door in the nick of time.
Ben will put a stop to all this and bark at Charlie to back off. Charlie will be forced to stay away from Claire, who’ll be protected by a determined Ben in Wednesday’s DOOL episode.
Other Days of Our Lives spoilers say Ava will battle some crazy visions due to the drugs she’s been given. Ava will have a hard time distinguishing reality from fantasy, so she’ll think Tripp’s come to save her.
Sadly, Ava will also imagine Charlie whipping out a giant knife and fatally stabbing Tripp. Poor Ava will be horrified as she hallucinates her own son murdering his half-brother!
Charlie will become a victim in Ava’s next hallucination, which will involve Steve bursting in and attacking Charlie. It looks like both Tripp and Charlie will end up dead on the floor, but this will all be inside Ava’s messed-with mind.
Some updates will reach Rafe Hernandez (Galen Gering) about Charlie, so he’ll decide to go check out the suspicious Titan intern’s apartment. By then, Ava will be passed out on the floor – still bound and gagged in her chair.
Days of Our Lives spoilers say Rafe will be stunned when he breaks in Charlie’s place and realizes Ava’s been held hostage this entire time.
