Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers update for Wednesday, June 30, teases that Chloe Lane (Nadia Bjorlin) will kiss Philip Kiriakis (Jay Kenneth Johnson), so Brady Black (Eric Martsolf) will lose the battle for now. Meanwhile, an awkward dinner party will get underway for Ava Vitali (Tamara Braun), Nicole Brady (Arianne Zucker) and Rafe Hernandez (Galen Gering).
At the Hernandez house, Rafe will get stuck in the middle of an uncomfortable get-together. Ava insisted Nicole should join them for the creole meal she intends to prepare, so Nicole will keep her word – and she’ll bring Duke the teddy bear along with her.
Eli Grant (Lamon Archey) wondered what Ava would think about Nicole and Rafe having an inside joke about a stuffed bear custody agreement. He didn’t expect Ava would approve, but Ava actually seems pretty secure in her romance right now.
It doesn’t look like Ava will show any signs of concern or jealousy when she laughs over this whole bear thing Rafe and Nicole have going. The evening will go pretty well – at least from Ava’s perspective.
Of course, Nicole may be uncomfortable considering she’s quietly battling feelings for Rafe.
DOOL fans know Rafe’s wrestling with his own feelings as well, so he’ll try to make sense of his options – and he’ll get some help from Duke in that department.
That might involve a dream or fantasy where Duke tries to aid in Rafe’s decision about his perfect match.
However, Rafe will end the night kissing Ava and most likely still have Nicole on his mind. It doesn’t sound like Duke’s perspective will help all that much, but Rafe will keep trying to figure out what’s in his heart.
Chloe will try to do the same when she confides in Belle Brady (Martha Madison) on Tuesday’s Days episode. Belle will deliver a present to cheer Chloe up while she recovers.
It appears Belle will offer a box of fancy chocolates, so that’ll give Chloe something to munch on while she mulls over her next move.
Belle will find out Chloe’s conflicted about whether she belongs with Philip or Brady. Although Chloe’s the only one who can make this choice, Belle’s vote will be for Philip.
Belle will feel like Brady has to work on himself and heal from losing Kristen DiMera (Stacy Haiduk) before he can be good boyfriend material.
Belle will also praise Philip’s positive attributes and suggest Chloe should give him the shot he’s been begging for. At Julie’s Place, Philip will spot Brady and Shawn Brady (Brandon Beemer) sitting at the bar.
It won’t be long until Philip walks over and instigates a confrontation, but he should leave before things get too wild.
There’ll be a pleasant surprise waiting for Philip at home since Chloe will admit she’s willing to give him a chance. Chloe will kiss Philip passionately and leave him grateful for this sudden shift.
If he finds out Belle’s the reason for it, he’ll surely want to offer his gratitude. As for Brady, he won’t give up hope and will wind up making his move with Chloe in the coming weeks!
Other Days spoilers say Lani Price-Grant (Sal Stowers) will interrogate Paulina Price (Jackée Harry) about her secretive phone call. Lani just busted Paulina talking about hiding something from Abe Carver (James Reynolds), so Detective Price will want some answers!
Paulina won’t be ready for the truth to come out, so she’ll deceive Lani about the nature of the call. When Abe joins the conversation, that could give Paulina another opportunity to pivot the discussion in another direction and throw Lani off the trail.
