Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers update for the week of May 31 to June 4 teases that Ben Weston (Robert Scott Wilson) will trigger a cabin fire trap and find himself on a mission to save Claire Brady (Isabel Durant). Meanwhile, Chloe Lane (Nadia Bjorlin) will attack Jan Spears (Heather Lindell) and fight for her gun!
On Monday, May 31, DOOL will be preempted for French Open tennis coverage. Thankfully, Days will jump right back into the action on Tuesday, June 1.
We’ll see Julie Williams (Susan Seaforth Hayes) lash out over Xander Kiriakis (Paul Telfer) moving in the Horton house while Gabi Hernandez DiMera (Camila Banus) kicks Lucas Horton (Bryan Dattilo) out of the DiMera mansion for being rude.
While Kate Roberts DiMera (Lauren Koslow) silences Dr. Clay Snyder (Michael Lowry) with a threat to his job, Paulina Price (Jackee Harry) will find a friend in Marlena Evans (Deidre Hall).
However, Paulina won’t fill Marlena in on her true plans for the Horton Town Square. She won’t tell Abe Carver (James Reynolds) either – and that’ll present a problem since he’ll nearly botch things for Paulina.
Nevertheless, Paulina will manage to fix whatever Abe almost messes up for her. Whatever Paulina’s up to is pretty shady, so she’ll work to keep it quiet.
Belle Brady (Martha Madison) will begin her prison stint at Statesville, so that’ll give Jan hope when it comes to reuniting with Sharon Brady (Brandon Beemer).
Jan won’t want Claire going free and telling everyone Jan killed Charlie Dale (Mike Manning), not Belle. That’s why Jan will try to force Chloe to kill Claire.
Chloe will hold out her hand expecting Jan to hand the gun over. It’ll be Chloe’s way of trying to gain the advantage.
Jan will give Chloe a huge knife instead and want her to stab Claire with it. After Chloe refuses, Jan will lead her out to the woods for an exchange with Philip Kiriakis (Jay Kenneth Johnson).
Jan will expect Philip to meet her demands if he wants Chloe to stay alive, but Chloe will catch Jan off guard and dive for her weapon.
As for Claire, she’ll have a booby trap surrounding her at the cabin where she tried to set Ciara Brady Weston (Victoria Konefal) on fire. Ben will accidentally trigger the booby trap and find himself in a race against time as he works to save Claire from harm.
Since a fire appears to break out at the cabin in DOOL’s summer preview video, that may be what this booby trap sets off. It’d be a fun nod to Days history for Claire to be restrained and unable to escape from the fire on her own.
Ben will rush to Claire’s rescue and pull her out before she’s engulfed in the flames.
Chanel Dupree (Precious Way) will also have a business pitch to pass along, so she’ll run it by Lani Price-Grant (Sal Stowers) before asking Allie Horton (Lindsay Arnold) to team up with her in business.
Allie will mull it over and get on board in the end, so stay tuned to learn more about Chanel’s big idea.
