Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers reveal that Victoria Konefal just exited the role of Ciara Brady Weston, but she’s already headed back to the NBC soap. DOOL fans will see Victoria Konefal reprise her popular role when she returns this summer 2021, so “Cin” fans don’t have to worry!
Ciara will return for another exciting chapter in her storyline with Ben Weston (Robert Scott Wilson).
The news was confirmed in SOD’s new interview with Days Head Writer Ron Carlivati. Although Carlivati knew Ciara’s temporary departure with Theo Carver (Cameron Johnson) would disappoint many viewers, he also knew they had the next phase of the story ready and waiting to go.
Carlivati didn’t want to leave fans feeling unsatisfied, so there’s much more to come.
Of course, that meant working with Victoria Konefal’s schedule since she’s a recurring Days of Our Lives player by choice. Konefal wants the freedom to pursue other projects and come back for visits like this, so it became a matter of figuring out when she could work and for how long.
Fortunately, Days of Our Lives was able to work it out quickly, so Ben and Ciara will be reunited in the months ahead. “So that’s why I’m happy to announce here that Ciara is coming back and we are going to tell that next chapter of the story and hopefully, this time, the audience will get the payoff that they’re looking for and hoping for,” Carlivati insisted.
Since Carlivati didn’t want to speak for Konefal or Days of Our Lives, he wouldn’t say how long this next stint would last for. However, Carlivati seems hopeful that there’ll be many more chapters.
The story will never really have to end if things work out the way Carlivati wants. It’s clear that Carlivati is a big fan of this Days duo and wants to write for them.
Carlivati suggested that “at this point, there is not an end date. We are working with Victoria to keep the story going and keep Ben and Ciara’s love story alive.”
That’s certainly fantastic news for fans who have followed Ciara and Ben’s saga from the very beginning – as well as those who have joined in the fun along the way.
Carlivati added that viewers can first expect to see Ciara again this summer and pointed out their anniversary may play a crucial role in the story. Days of Our Lives spoilers say Ciara will face a memory flood down the road, so don’t miss the epic moments that’ll follow!
