Days of Our Lives Spoilers: Wednesday, August 11 Recap – Sami Captured, Leaves Clue Behind – Gabi & Jake’s CEO Battle

Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers recap for Wednesday, August 11, reveals that Sami Brady DiMera (Alison Sweeney) was chloroformed and captured, but she left a clue behind. Meanwhile, Gabi Hernandez DiMera (Camila Banus) and Jake DiMera (Brandon Barash) had a CEO battle as their plan to sabotage Philip Kiriakis (Jay Kenneth Johnson) got underway.

At the DiMera mansion, Sami suggested that maybe she should’ve just let EJ DiMera (Dan Feurriegel) kill Lucas Horton (Bryan Dattilo) since this was Lucas’ fault.

Sami accused Lucas of sending Philip to do his dirty work, but Lucas protested that he had no idea Philip would dig the letter out of the trash and give it to Nicole Brady (Arianne Zucker).

Sami felt like Lucas got what he wanted anyway since her marriage was blown out of the water. Lucas was sorry that everything went down like it did, but Sami doubted that.

After Lucas reiterated that he was truly sorry, he suggested that maybe this was their chance to get back together again. Lucas mentioned that Sami’s marriage was over, but she disagreed and refused to give up.

Next on Wednesday’s Days episode, EJ got Kristen DiMera (Stacy Haiduk) on the phone to admit he finally got her letter. He alluded to having plans for Sami and talked about kicking her out.

EJ was grateful that Kristen had told him the truth and assured her there was no chance he’d forgive Sami.

Once EJ hung up, he noticed Sami’s vintage necklace and thought back to when he gave it to her recently. EJ joined Sami and Lucas downstairs, but Sami suggested Lucas was just leaving.

After Lucas exited, EJ dangled the necklace in front of Sami and eventually dropped it on the floor. He suggested Sami should consider it payment for services rendered.

EJ pointed out that all Sami’s things were packed up in the car, but Sami argued that this wasn’t his house anymore.

EJ wondered if Sami really thought Gabi would let her stay, so Sami pointed out that she was Arianna Horton’s (Sydney Brower) grandmother as well as Gabi’s friend.

When EJ asked if Sami would park herself in a guest room, Sami was happy to do it for as long as it took to make EJ forgive her. EJ suggested Sami could stay “until hell freezes over” and it wouldn’t make any difference.

However, Sami knew EJ loved her and suggested he wouldn’t get rid of her that easily. She smiled and had a little pep in her step as she headed off to get Gabi’s permission to stay.

Once EJ was alone, he vowed to Stefano DiMera’s (Joseph Mascolo) portrait that he wouldn’t let Sami humiliate him.

At Nicole’s apartment, Ava Vitali (Tamara Braun) cleared her throat and asked if she was interrupting something. Nicole and Rafe Hernandez (Galen Gering) pulled away from their embrace before Nicole admitted Rafe was giving her a shoulder to cry on.

Nicole explained how Sami had destroyed her marriage by sending Xander Cook Kiriakis (Paul Telfer) to blow up their anniversary party.

Ava ranted about how she was hoping Xander would keep his mouth shut, so Rafe realized Nicole had confided in her before now. “What the hell is wrong with Sami?” Ava asked.

Ava assured Nicole that Sami wouldn’t get away with this and added that they’d pay Sami back, but Nicole insisted she already did.

After Nicole explained the letter story, she suggested getting revenge on Sami didn’t fix her marriage.

Nicole wanted to know what brought Ava by, so Ava admitted she was going to ask about a potential job at Basic Black. Nicole thought that was a great idea, but Ava said they could discuss it later.

Ava offered to take Nicole out with Rafe to cheer her up – the three of them all together.

Nicole declined since she preferred to be alone for a while, but Ava flashed back to moments that made her concerned about Rafe and Nicole’s connection.

At Titan, Philip was confused to find that his computer was frozen. When Chloe Lane (Nadia Bjorlin) came in, Philip was even more perplexed to find it was suddenly working fine again.

Chloe wanted to take Philip out to dinner, but Philip was aloof and sarcastically suggested she should take Brady Black (Eric Martsolf) instead.

Chloe quickly realized that Philip was upset about her bailing on him to go with Brady after the anniversary party.

Philip had texted Chloe about waiting for her back at the pub, but Chloe missed it and pointed out that she went straight to her room.

Philip thought it was better than Brady’s room, so Chloe was offended. She insisted that Philip could feel however he wanted about Brady, but he needed to trust her or else this wasn’t going to work.

Philip admitted he indeed needed to grow up and was apologetic, but Chloe moved past it quickly and gave him a kiss.

Talk turned to how Philip gave Nicole the letter to help Lucas win Sami over. Chloe confessed that after what happened to Nicole at the anniversary bash, she’d do anything to help her friend.

Chloe guessed that for now, she’d have to settle for watching Sami reap what she sowed.

Philip was glad that Chloe wasn’t angry with him – and Chloe was equally glad that he’d chosen to be honest with her.

After Philip promised there’d never be any secrets between them, he apologized again for being a jerk earlier and thought they could have a do-over on the nightcap he’d planned.

Moments later on Wednesday’s Days episode, Lucas showed up wanting to speak with Philip. Chloe said she’d see Philip back at home and left them to talk. Lucas explained that he’d been unable to stop Nicole from giving EJ the letter. He added that Sami accused him of sending Philip to do his dirty work, so Philip offered to try to fix this.

Lucas felt Philip had done enough and pointed out that Sami was determined to get EJ’s forgiveness. As far as Lucas was concerned, he stood no chance with Sami. Philip was sorry about his role in the drama and thought Sami was making a big mistake.

After Philip walked out with Lucas, his computer restarted with a message about the installation of Gabi’s software program being complete.

At the Hernandez house, Gabi told Jake that she’d put a key logger on Philip’s computer, which would record all his keystrokes and allow them to gather intel they could use to sabotage him.

Gabi felt she could become Titan CEO eventually, but Jake piped up to ask what if he became CEO instead.

“This whole plan was my idea!” Gabi insisted on Wednesday’s DOOL episode. Jake argued that he had CEO experience, but Gabi fired back that she ran her own company and ran DiMera Enterprises, too.

Gabi felt like Jake didn’t want her to be his boss, so he confessed it might be a little strange working under her.

Jake and Gabi argued, but they ultimately let passion take over and decided to have some fun in the bedroom. As for Sami, she showed up outside the Hernandez house ready to see Gabi.

Outside the door, someone snuck up behind Sami and chloroformed her. Once Sami lost consciousness, she dropped the necklace EJ had given her.

Days of Our Lives spoilers say Sami’s kidnapping mystery will bring some twists and turns down the road.
