Days of Our Lives Spoilers: Wednesday, December 15 Recap – Ava Spies Rafe & Nicole Kiss – Marlena Vows Revenge on Belle & Shawn

Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers recap for Wednesday, December 15, reveals that Ava Vitali (Tamara Braun) secretly spied Rafe Hernandez (Galen Gering) and Nicole Walker’s (Arianne Zucker) kiss while Marlena Evans (Deidre Hall) vowed revenge on Belle Brady (Martha Madison) and Shawn Brady (Brandon Beemer). Let’s talk about how all Wednesday’s DOOL action played out.

In the town square, Nicole slapped Rafe over the kiss and called him a “jackass” for doing that to try to prove his point.

Nicole felt she was entitled to do whatever she wanted with EJ DiMera (Dan Feuerriegel) and warned Rafe that if he ever grabbed her like that again, she’d tell Ava.

“Tell Ava what?” Ava asked as she appeared. Nicole suggested she just thought Ava should know what happened to Philip Kiriakis (Jay Kenneth Johnson), but Ava already knew.

After Nicole said she was happy Ava and Rafe worked things out, Ava praised Nicole for being such a good friend and wondered what she’d do without her.

Nicole made it clear that she simply ran into Rafe in the town square and took off awkwardly. Once Nicole was gone, Ava asked Rafe what that was about.

Rafe blamed it on his disapproval of Nicole being with EJ, but Ava thought they made a good couple.

When Rafe complained about EJ’s history, Ava contemplated whether her beau really believed people could change – including her.

Ava suggested maybe Rafe was just telling her what she wanted to hear and asked if he was having second thoughts about their relationship.

Rafe reassured Ava and wondered why she would even ask that. After Ava had a flashback of witnessing Rafe and Nicole’s kiss earlier, she lied that there was no reason.

At the DiMera mansion, Sami Brady DiMera (Alison Sweeney) handed over the divorce papers and realized EJ was clutching his wedding ring.

Sami seemed smug over that ring being important to EJ and told him not to bother with the pen he was looking for. Sami ripped up the divorce papers as she declared she wasn’t signing them – not now, not ever!

EJ argued that he was with Nicole now, but Sami didn’t see what he’d want with that “dime-store version” of her. After EJ declared that Nicole was better in bed, Sami was appalled that he’d even say that.

EJ insisted that Nicole was hotter and more experimental, but Sami cut him off by calling him a “son of a bitch.” She snarled that Nicole was NOT hotter and pulled EJ into a sizzling kiss.

Afterward, EJ claimed to feel nothing, but Sami thought his body was saying something else and vowed that he’d never be rid of his wife. She didn’t think EJ wanted to be rid of her anyway.

Sami reminded EJ that he forgave her for shooting him in the head and didn’t think her betrayal with Lucas was that big of a deal in the grand scheme of things. She couldn’t stop loving EJ despite his own mistakes and knew EJ didn’t want her to stop deep down.

When Nicole interrupted, EJ cozied up next to her and acted like he’d made his choice.

Sami wasn’t buying it and intended to put any new divorce papers in the trash like the old ones. She dropped a hint about Nicole being trash as well and sauntered out.

Once EJ was alone with Nicole, he said Sami was wasting her time. EJ told Nicole that he’d found the woman who was perfect for him right now – and Nicole claimed to feel the same way. However, both EJ and Nicole looked uneasy as they hugged.

At Nicole’s place, Lucas Horton (Bryan Dattilo) appreciated Allie Horton (Lindsay Arnold) going to bat for him, but he felt like finding Nicole and EJ in bed together was only going to make Sami more determined to fight for her husband.

Once talk turned to Philip, Lucas admitted he was afraid he’d never see his brother again.

Allie and Lucas also discussed Marlena’s possession before circling back around to Sami. Allie wondered if EJ might’ve ordered Sami’s kidnapping, but Lucas shut down that idea.

Lucas also acted rather suspicious about how the cops were “looking into it and stuff” and suggested they might’ve already lost interest in the case.

Allie warned that someone could come after Sami again and added that whoever ordered this kidnapping needed to pay.

After Sami showed up on Wednesday’s Days episode, she informed Lucas and Allie that she tore up the divorce papers. Sami refused to give up on EJ, but Lucas insisted he wasn’t giving up on Sami either!

At the cabin, Shawn assured Ben Weston (Robert Scott Wilson) that Marlena had told him a pack of lies.

Shawn struggled to untie and take the gag out of John Black’s (Drake Hogestyn) mouth due to the devil’s powers, so he pointed to that as further proof.

After possessed Marlena let her eyes glow and voice deepen, she admitted she wasn’t Ben’s “precious Dr. Evans.” Marlena said Ben was looking into the face of evil and thought it must be like looking in a mirror.

Marlena couldn’t wait for the birth of Ben and Ciara’s child – the perfect combination of Brady goodness and Weston evil. It was the ideal blend for corruption.

Ben refused to let Marlena anywhere near Ciara and the baby, but she countered that he already had. After Marlena tossed a necktie toward Ben, it magically wrapped around his neck.

Marlena used her powers to start strangling Ben while a now ungagged John tried to get through to his wife.

At home, Ciara Brady Weston (Victoria Konefal) forced Belle to say Claire Brady’s (Isabel Durant) safe word, which was “box top.” That convinced Ciara that Belle was really Belle, so she let her in and admitted Ben was at the cabin with Marlena.

Ciara feared for her husband since he didn’t know about the possession and pointed out that the devil was after her baby.

Back at the cabin, Marlena declared that her work there was done and opened the door to leave. She thought the “fellas” should give it up since mere mortals were no match for her, but Belle appeared and knocked Marlena out from behind.

While Belle was helping Shawn free John and Ben, Marlena woke up and gave them all the slip.

Ben knew Marlena was headed for Ciara and had to get to her first, so he took off in a hurry. Belle wondered how they would ever stop Marlena now that she was on the loose again.

Back with Ciara on Wednesday’s Days episode, she took off the necklace Marlena claimed would offer protection. Ciara told her baby that he or she would be born perfect and beautiful. She vowed to protect her unborn child with her entire life.

Soon after, Ben showed up and convinced Ciara it was really him, not the devil’s trick. Ciara dropped the bat she’d armed herself with and accepted Ben’s embrace.

They both acknowledged the devil’s baby agenda, but Ben promised he wouldn’t let anything happen to Ciara or their kid.

As for Marlena, she decided that she should’ve dealt with Belle a long time ago.

Marlena declared that it was time to make Belle and that cop husband of hers pay a heavy price. She seemed quite pleased with herself since she thought she knew exactly how to make that happen.

Days of Our Lives spoilers say Marlena will bring Jan Spears (Heather Lindell) in on her sneaky plan soon enough, so stick with DOOL.
