Days of Our Lives Spoilers: Wednesday, February 10 Recap - Lani & Eli Get Twins Back - Jennifer Learns Laura's Dead

Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers recap for Wednesday, February 10, reveal that Eli Grant (Lamon Archey) and Lani Price-Grant (Sal Stowers) remained locked in a bedroom in the Chicago townhouse where Vivian Alamain (Linda Dano) and Ivan Marais (Ivan G’Vera) had the twins.

Ivan had classical music turned up loudly so that Vivian couldn’t hear Lani and Eli yelling to be let out.

Soon, Vivian turned off the music and heard Lani and Eli yelling and pounding on the bedroom door. Ivan confessed to his “Madame” that Lani and Eli had been locked in the upstairs bedroom since last night, and that the twins belonged to them.

Ivan said that he did it for revenge on Lani, since she cut Stefan DiMera’s (Brandon Barash) life short.

Vivian was pleased and proud of Ivan’s initiative, and she said that she wouldn’t let the babies go. Vivian retrieved a handgun out of a lockbox, saying that it was time for her to finish what she started months ago, and that Ivan should turn up the music.

Ivan did, but a short time later, Lani and Eli escorted Vivian at gunpoint into the living room.

As it turned out, Lani and Eli were able to overpower Vivian and disarm her. Lani handcuffed Ivan while Eli took care of Vivian, and the happy parents reunited with their babies, saying that they were taking their children home.

At the DiMera mansion, Abigail DiMera (Marci Miller) told Chad DiMera (Billy Flynn) that she’d come home on one condition – that she’d take a guest room and that they’d start counseling.

Abigail said she’d do the work, but that she’d make no promises about their future. Chad was thrilled, and Abigail left to go back to the Horton house and pack her things.

Later, Julie Williams (Susan Seaforth Hayes) entered the mansion and talked briefly about how Gwen Rizczech (Emily O’Brien) wasn’t being arrested for drugging Abigail.

Chad said that Wilhelm Rolf’s (William Utay) statement that he gave Gwen the drugs wasn’t credible to the police.

Julie was happy to hear that Abigail was coming home to the mansion, and she helped Chad order food and arrange some candles and flowers for Abigail’s homecoming.

Julie thought that Abigail and Chad would be back together soon enough, and she gushed about how happy she was about their pending reunion.

At the Horton house, Jack Deveraux (Matthew Ashford) and Jennifer Deveraux (Cady McClain) talked briefly about Spectator business, but Jennifer was distracted, as she was worried about Laura Horton (Jaime Lyn Bauer).

Jennifer said that Laura had gone out that morning, and that she thought she’d be back by now.

Over at the Salem Inn, Gwen stood over Laura’s dead body, then she checked for a pulse, but Laura was dead. Gwen called Jack, who was still at the Horton house. Gwen asked Jack to come to her hotel room immediately and to hurry.

Jack told Jennifer that he was going to see Gwen, and Jennifer warned him to be careful.

Jack took off, and Abigail arrived to pack her things. Abigail shared the news with Jennifer that she was moving back into the DiMera mansion.

Jennifer was happy that Abigail was going to focus on Chad and her family, and she relayed that Jack had gone off to see Gwen at the Salem Inn.

Jack arrived at the Salem Inn, and Gwen told him that he could now make up for her miserable childhood. Jack entered the room and saw Laura’s body on the ground. Jack immediately checked for a pulse, and Gwen said that Laura had died instantly.

Gwen insisted that it was an accident, and that Laura lost her balance and fell, hitting her head on the corner of the desk.

Gwen wanted Jack to help her get rid of the body, but Jack hesitated. Gwen said that everyone was going to think that she pushed Laura on purpose, and then she realized that Jack may not believe her.

Gwen started hyperventilating, and Jack assured her that he believed her. “I’m going to help you,” Jack promised.

“I’m going to call someone I trust, and I will be with you every step of the way,” Jack told Gwen. Jack called Rafe Hernandez (Galen Gering), who was over in his office at the Salem PD. “This is Jack Deveraux. I’m calling to report a DOA,” Jack said somberly.

Later, Rafe arrived at the Salem Inn and he immediately noticed that Gwen’s black eye was gone. Rafe then saw Laura’s body on the floor, and Gwen said that Laura fell and that it was an accident.

Rafe said that this was now an active crime scene, and that Gwen needed to come to the station to answer some questions.

Jack said that he needed to go tell Jennifer about her mother’s death, and Gwen noted that he needed to go be with his “real” family. “You’re my real family, too,” Jack said, comforting Gwen. Gwen thanked Jack for being there when she needed him, and Jack took off.

Back at the Horton house, Jack arrived and found Abigail and Jennifer there, still talking. Jack walked in and said that he needed to talk with them both, and that it was about Laura.

“Laura’s gone,” Jack said. “I’m so sorry – Your mother is dead,” Jack told Jennifer sadly. Jennifer and Abigail were horrified and broke down.

Back at the Salem PD, Rafe escorted Gwen into his office, telling her that she was already under investigation for drugging Abigail. Gwen surmised that Rafe thought she was guilty of everything.

“You probably don’t want to make another misstep,” Rafe said, getting out his recorder and preparing to take Gwen’s statement.
