Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers for Wednesday, May 5, tease that Jan Spears (Heather Lindell) will bump into Bonnie Lockhart (Judi Evans), so that’ll bring some sudden tension. Bonnie and Jan both have feisty personalities, so they’ll clash during this run-in and deliver some Days humor as a result.
Meanwhile, DA Melinda Trask (Tina Huang) will be convinced Belle Brady (Martha Madison) is the right culprit when it comes to Charlie Dale’s (Mike Manning) murder.
Trask wants to wrap this case up ASAP, so she’ll push John Black (Drake Hogestyn) to back up the recording and give a formal statement incriminating Belle.
However, John will no doubt argue that he jumped to the wrong conclusion based on Belle’s red coat. He didn’t actually see who was under that hood, so John can’t say with certainty that Belle killed Charlie.
In fact, John will likely contend that he must’ve gotten it wrong and push Trask to keep the investigation going.
Other Days of Our Lives spoilers state that Belle will have a shocking realization that ties in with Charlie’s death. This should be the first clue that tips Belle off to Jan’s potential guilt.
Of course, it won’t make a ton of sense to Belle just yet since everyone believes Jan was still in a coma at the time.
Nevertheless, Belle will become convinced that Jan found some way to pull this off. She’ll soon suspect Jan might’ve lied about the timing of when she woke up.
Belle will realize Jan’s the only one with a strong enough motive to set her up – and Days fans know Jan is indeed guilty!
It turns out Claire Brady (Isabel Durant) will get a clue of her own on Wednesday’s DOOL episode. Claire will overhear Jan making a bold declaration – one that lets Claire know Jan hasn’t turned from her scheming ways.
Days spoilers say Jan will vow to be Shawn Brady’s (Brandon Beemer) wife, so Claire will sense that more trouble could be brewing.
Across town, Chanel Dupree (Precious Way) will arrive on Lani Price-Grant (Sal Stowers) and Eli Grant’s (Lamon Archey) doorstep with a huge favor to ask.
It’ll come as a big surprise to Lani when Chanel asks to move in, but Lani will grant the request – and most likely have to talk Eli into it! As other Days news and updates emerge, we’ll keep you in the loop.
