Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers tease that it will be a week in Salem that viewers won’t want to miss. The new Days of Our Lives promo for the week of February 8 is out, and it’s brimming with action, including a very big day for Steve Johnson (Stephen Nichols) and Kayla Brady (Mary Beth Evans).
It will be the week of Valentine’s Day, and romance will certainly be in the air.
Steve will arrange a romantic scene at the Brady Pub. With Tripp Dalton (Lucas Adams) as his best man and Abe Carver (James Reynolds) officiating, Steve will surprise Kayla with an impromptu wedding, complete with the couple’s signature yellow roses. “I love you with all of my being,” Steve tells Kayla happily.
Next, the new Days of Our Lives promo shows a fantasy sequence involving Ben Weston (Robert Scott Wilson) and Ciara Weston (Victoria Konefal).
As viewers know, Ben and Ciara aren’t together right now since Ciara’s being held captive, but through Ciara’s reading of Romeo & Juliet, viewers will be treated to some fun scenes where Ben is Romeo and Ciara is Juliet.
The promo also shows Abigail DiMera (Marci Miller) quizzing Jake DiMera (Brandon Barash) about his feelings for Gabi DiMera (Camila Banus). Of course, Jake is very conflicted about his feelings – he really cares for Kate DiMera (Lauren Koslow) but that spark for Gabi is still strong.
Jake seems to struggle to answer Abigail’s question in the promo, so we’ll see how he handles this interrogation.
Susan Banks (Stacy Haiduk) also makes an appearance in the new Days of Our Lives promo, as she visits Kristen DiMera (Stacy Haiduk) in prison.
It looks like Kristen will summon Susan for a visit with a specific goal in mind – keeping an eye on Brady Black (Eric Martsolf) and Chloe Lane (Nadia Bjorlin). As viewers know, Kristen is worried about Chloe getting her hooks back into Brady.
“How are you going to keep an eye on Brady and Chloe?” Susan asks Kristen in the promo. “I’ve got you!” Kristen replies.
This would indicate that Susan is going to either spy on Brady and Chloe, or that she and Kristen are going to swap places so that Kristen can keep a very close eye on the situation. We’ll see where this is going.
Next, the promo shows a pretty scary situation in which Gwen Rizczech (Emily O’Brien) and Laura Horton (Jaime Lyn Bauer) are having an exchange at the Salem Inn.
It appears that Laura will come to see Gwen, and Gwen’s going to be livid with Laura over her years-long deception. Gwen will blame Laura big time for the fact that she never had a relationship with Jack Deveraux (Matthew Ashford).
“You ruined my life and you’re not going to get away with it,” Gwen says to Laura in the promo, grabbing Laura’s arm. Laura looks pretty frightened of Gwen, and Days of Our Lives spoilers indicate that tragic results could follow.
We’ll see what happens here, but Days of Our Lives spoilers say it looks like Gwen is going to work hard to get her revenge and her encounter with Laura will end in tragedy!
Finally, the new DOOL promo for the week of February 8 shows a gun-wielding Vivian Alamain (Linda Dano) threatening to take care of business in Chicago.
As viewers know, Lani Price-Grant (Sal Stowrs) and Eli Grant (Lamon Archey) are currently trapped in a room in the Chicago house where Vivian and Ivan Marais (Ivan G’Vera) have the Grant twins stashed.
In the promo, Lani and Eli are shown trying to get out of the room, while Vivian picks up a handgun and ominously says that it’s time for her to finish what she started!
It looks like Vivian will snap when Ivan tells her that Lani’s in the next room, and she’ll want to finally get her revenge on Lani for Stefan DiMera’s (Brandon Barash) death.
The good news here is that the situation will resolve itself in Lani and Eli’s favor, and they will be reunited with their twins, little Carver Grant and Jules Grant.
By the time Valentine’s Day rolls around, the Grant family should be reunited and happy, which is great news!
