Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers preview for the week of May 3-7 teases that Tripp Johnson (Lucas Adams) will face quite a bombshell. Tripp’s been growing closer to Allie Horton (Lindsay Arnold) and is almost ready to make his move, but someone will beat him to it.
Allie will bump into Chanel Dupree (Precious Way), who happens to be somebody Allie went clubbing with back in London.
However, Allie and Chanel obviously did even more than that based on DOOL’s weekly preview video. It shows Chanel and Allie all dolled up for drinks at Julie’s Place as they catch up. When Tripp walks in, he looks stunned to find Allie kissing Chanel!
This is pretty much the last thing Tripp expected, so he’ll rush out and head off to find Claire Brady (Isabel Durant) soon after. Tripp will fill Claire in on what he witnessed, so Claire should be just as surprised as he is.
Allie is apparently bisexual or perhaps someone who just follows her heart and doesn’t care much about labels.
The fact that Allie has a prior connection to Chanel will also throw Tripp and Claire for a loop. We can’t forget Claire and Tripp view Chanel as a selfish, manipulative brat thanks to that scam she tried to pull the first day they met.
Chanel was Theo Carver’s (Cameron Johnson) ex, so it’s wild that she’s Allie’s former flame, too.
Once Tripp gets past the shock on Days of Our Lives, he’ll worry that maybe Allie wants Chanel back. It doesn’t seem like Chanel and Allie were seriously involved, but they clearly have a spark and know how to have fun together.
Tripp will fear he waited too late to tell Allie how he feels, but Claire may think Allie will choose Tripp if she knows he’s for sure an option. It looks like Tripp just has to fight for Allie and let her know where he stands.
In the meantime, Days of Our Lives spoilers say Rafe Hernandez (Galen Gering) will ask Ava Vitali (Tamara Braun) on a dinner date. That’ll leave Nicole Brady (Arianne Zucker) jealous and willing to admit it right to Rafe’s face.
Nicole will feel comfortable enough to be honest, especially since she’ll blame this jealousy on missing Eric Brady (Greg Vaughan). Rafe will downplay it as no big deal and suggest it’s only natural since Eric’s been gone so long.
Nicole may convince herself she can move past her growing feelings for Rafe, but she could cross a dangerous line with him down the road.
Other Days of Our Lives spoilers say Ben Weston (Robert Scott Wilson) will give Jake DiMera (Brandon Beemer) some guidance.
Ben’s struggling in the love department due to Ciara Brady Weston’s (Victoria Konefal) missing memories, but he’ll think there’s still hope for Jake and the woman he desires.
Ben will advise Jake to decide who he wants to be with – and then do whatever it takes to make her know that she’s the one for Jake. What neither of them will realize is that Kristen DiMera (Stacy Haiduk) dumped Jake while wearing a Kristen mask!
Days of Our Lives viewers can certainly expect that to complicate Jake’s upcoming moves.
After Jake tries to fix things with “Kate” and gets rejected, it’ll be Gabi Hernandez DiMera (Camila Banus) who steals his attention. Gabi will call Jake “a really big jerk,” but he’ll grab her arm and set up some flying sparks.
Days of Our Lives spoilers say Gabi and Jake are headed into sizzling territory soon, so Jake may realize it was Gabi he wanted all along. We’ll provide updates as other Days news emerges.
