Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers update for week of September 20-24 teases that sinful Doug Williams (Bill Hayes) will go haywire while Ben Weston (Robert Scott Wilson) confesses to Ciara Brady Weston (Victoria Konefal). Abigail DiMera’s (Marci Miller) move will also stun Gwen Rizczech (Emily O’Brien), so let’s talk about what’s in store.
For starters, Doug will leave Marlena Evans (Deidre Hall) deeply disturbed as it becomes more and more apparent that he’s possessed. The devil will take over Marlena’s body at some point, but that doesn’t mean Doug’s possession will just go away.
Days spoilers say Doug will exhibit some wild behavior in the week ahead – and Julie will accidentally make it worse!
That could mean Julie makes some comment the devil doesn’t like or will perhaps suggest that seeing Marlena was a bad idea.
If devil Doug hasn’t gained control of Marlena by then, the threat of not seeing her again could lead to Doug going ballistic.
After Allie Horton (Lindsay Arnold) hears about the possession from Johnny DiMera (Carson Boatman) and sees the details in the Sami Brady (Alison Sweeney) story script, Allie will get confirmation from John Black (Drake Hogestyn) that it actually went down.
Allie will reel over Marlena being possessed and will agree with John about this being unsettling.
Allie won’t be sure she wants any part of a project so creepy and tied to pain for Grandma Marlena.
John will later tell Marlena he doesn’t think Johnny should make the film at all, but she might think that’s extreme.
Of course, it’s possible that’ll already be “MarDevil” talking and trying to manipulate the situation!
Whatever the case, Marlena will wind up under the devil’s mind control before you know it.
In the meantime, Ben and Ciara will continue to share what feels like a honeymoon that just won’t end.
DOOL spoilers say Ciara and Ben will still be in New Orleans, but at least they’ll be enjoying themselves – with the exception of one thing that’s been bothering Ben.
Having Ciara back is a dream come true, but Ben’s been contemplating Ciara’s suggestion about having a baby.
Ben will soon confide the truth, which is that he’s afraid his awful history will be repeated.
Although Ben got better with therapy and medication, he was a deeply troubled individual who murdered multiple people once upon a time.
It’s understandable that doubts and concerns would be creeping in for Ben, but Ciara sees Ben’s good heart and will think Ben should focus on that.
Ciara will feel confident they’re going to have an amazing kid and that Ben will be an amazing dad.
While Ciara stays optimistic about the future, Abigail may try to do the same.
Now that Abigail’s back in Salem, she’ll surprise Gwen with a visit and perhaps offer a truce. Abigail might suggest they should try to coexist peacefully since Jack Deveraux (Matthew Ashford) genuinely loves them both.
Gwen might even get an apology from Abigail, who still believes the confrontation she started caused Gwen’s staircase fall and led to her miscarriage.
Days spoilers say Gwen will feel guilty about all the chaos she’s caused, but she’s in too deep to back out now.
Gwen has committed to her hooker lie to explain the blackmail situation, but that’ll trip her up down the road.
Until then, Gwen and Xander Cook Kiriakis (Paul Telfer) will have a conversation about whatever it is that’s happening between them. Xander and Gwen are definitely attracted to each other and enjoy their hot sessions in bed.
It’s just a matter of deciding how far they want to take this romance, so Gwen and Xander should take a step forward in that department.
As for Ava Vitali (Tamara Braun), she’ll overhear Gabi Hernandez DiMera (Camila Banus) and Jake DiMera (Brandon Barash) plotting Philip Kiriakis’ (Jay Kenneth Johnson) downfall.
Ava won’t hesitate to rat Jake and Gabi out to Philip, who’ll be livid over their sneaky teamwork.
