General Hospital (GH) spoilers tease that Britt Westbourne (Kelly Thiebaud) will search for Liesl Obrecht (Kathleen Gati) in Greece, so this daughter will be determined to save her mom from Victor Cassadine’s (Charles Shaughnessy) evil clutches.
GH fans know Liesl went missing out of the blue, so Britt was caught off guard and left feeling quite concerned.
Britt doesn’t want to let her mind drift to the worst-case scenario, but that’s pretty much unavoidable.
After learning she indeed had the genetic marker for Huntington’s disease, it brought some moments of deeper connection between Britt and Liesl.
It felt like they were bonding in a way they hadn’t before – and perhaps in a way they wouldn’t otherwise have done.
You could argue Liesl and Britt’s stronger relationship was a silver lining after such a heartbreaking blow. Of course, that also makes it easy to see why Britt’s so torn up over her mother’s disappearance.
Britt will struggle to get Liesl off her mind and will fear she could be injured or dead. Not having any real answers will make all this even harder to take.
During the week of September 20-23, Britt will decide she needs to work some of her anger out. She’ll hit the boxing gym and try to release some of the aggression that’s been building.
Britt was upset when she found out Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) was marrying Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright), but that doesn’t even seem all that important now.
What matters most to Britt is tracking Liesl down – and it looks like Britt will take the lead on that in the coming months. There’ll be other characters digging around, but we know Britt will ultimately land in Greece.
The guards who helped snatch Liesl were Greek, so maybe that’ll become a clue Scott Baldwin (Kin Shriner) offers from when he was just starting to lose consciousness.
Scott might remember something after all and pass that hint along to Britt so she can follow up.
Then again, maybe something else will lead Britt to conclude Obrecht must be in Greece.
Sooner or later, Britt will find out obsessed Victor is holding Liesl hostage, so you can bet Britt will leap into action. The hard part may be avoiding capture herself!
General Hospital spoilers say Britt will do whatever it takes to bring Liesl home, so Obrecht should appreciate the help.
