Brook Lynn Quartermaine’s (Amanda Setton) video call to grandma could put Nina’s Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) secret at risk, so here’s what GH fans can expect.
Nina was just getting to know Wiley a bit better when she received some troubling updates from “Mike” aka Sonny.
Once Nina found out about Lenny Caulfield’s (Rif Hutton) health issues, she knew she had to make the journey back to Nixon Falls right away.
Nina couldn’t abandon Lenny, Sonny and Phyllis Caulfield (Joyce Guy) when they needed her most.
Now that Nina’s back at The Tan-O and hanging out with “Mike” again, it’s like she never left.
Nina and Sonny are settling into the familiar groove they had before.
Although Nina knows it’s crazy to think she could build a life there with Sonny, part of her no doubt believes it when “Mike” insists they could.
However, Nina’s about to get a major reality check that reminds her what’s at stake.
Wiley has a birthday coming up, so Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell) and Willow Chase (Katelyn MacMullen) will hold a little bash for him.
Of course, Brook Lynn won’t like the idea of Nina missing out on the fun since she’s grown closer to Wiley lately.
Wiley might even ask about Grandma Nina, so Brook Lynn will have some good reasons to reach out.
Nina will get an unexpected video call so that she can wish Wiley a happy birthday, but there are certainly some ways this could go wrong.
Perhaps Nina will assume she’s going to have time alone when she answers – only for Sonny to suddenly enter the room.
Nina might grow concerned about Sonny’s voice being recognized by someone within earshot at the party.
Even worse, Nina might fear that Sonny will walk in front of her phone’s camera and offer a clear view of the presumed dead mob boss.
There’s even a chance that Wiley could see his grandpa on this video chat and start rambling about him.
Brook Lynn’s involvement poses another risk of Nina getting caught, so Nina should be on edge during this video call.
Nina should struggle to hide her discomfort and could raise red flags, but she’ll hope she can get through this without letting her Sonny secret spill.
