General Hospital (GH) spoilers reveal that the ABC soap has a new mystery that’s set to unravel. Who’s behind the dead cockroach and note that was sent to Ava? That note suggested that secrets and cockroaches were the only things that always survive – except for Ava and this mysterious message sender.
Of course, that implies that the person behind this note is presumed dead. It makes it seem like this person always survives and comes back to create more drama. General Hospital spoilers say this story will definitely come with some twists and turns, so let’s dig a little deeper.
Ava received the dead roach and note, but it appears someone may be targeting Ava because of Nikolas Cassadine (Marcus Coloma) – especially since the envelope referred to Ava as “Mrs. Cassadine.” If someone wanted to get revenge on Nikolas, the best way to do that would be to go after his beloved wife.
Nikolas is finally happy and looking forward to making his marriage to Ava the real deal. However, someone may want to rob Nikolas of that happiness by plotting against Ava – first by instilling fear and later by doing something far worse!
What about Cassandra Pierce (Jessica Tuck)? Nikolas betrayed Cassandra after her prison break and nearly killed her before she ultimately got away.
Although Cassandra would certainly want revenge on Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart) for the eventual boat explosion, maybe Cassandra’s starting at the beginning of her revenge list.
If Cassandra secretly is alive and well, she surely wouldn’t want to let Nikolas get away with his murder attempt. Things went south for Cassandra after Nikolas’ pulled that stunt.
Cassandra ended up presumed dead by the end of her last run, but no body was ever recovered.
That means it’d be easy for Cassandra to prove she always survives! Cassandra could easily try to take Ava down as part of a plan for vengeance on Nikolas. Once Cassandra pulled that off, she could go after Valentin and perhaps his true love, Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros).
The timing would be perfect considering Nina’s got a vulnerable new grandson, Wiley Quartermaine-Corinthos (Erik and Theo Olson).
Valentin has also been worried about Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna) posing a threat to Charlotte Cassadine (Scarlett Fernandez), but Papa might pose the biggest threat through his old connection to Cassandra!
If Cassandra happens to have a drug-related connection to Cyrus Renault (Jeff Kober), that’d be even better. Bottom line, there are some good reasons for GH writers to bring Cassandra back into the story.
Could Cassandra be targeting Nikolas’ wife for revenge as the first step toward her return?
