General Hospital (GH) spoilers reveal that there’s strong buzz from insiders about Franco Baldwin’s (Roger Howarth) imminent death. There have certainly been some clues on screen to support that throughout this tumor storyline.
It certainly feels like the end is drawing near for Franco, especially now that Franco has attacked Peter August (Wes Ramsey) and seems to be turning into “Bad Franco” again.
GH fans know Franco made a deadly pact with Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) to prepare in case something like this happened. Franco wanted Jason to kill him if he became a dangerous threat again – and Franco has just become a dangerous threat again.
General Hospital spoilers for March 8 point to even darker, creepier behavior for Franco as his run seemingly winds down.
However, it’d be too simple if Jason became the one to pull the trigger. That’d be expected due to the deal Jason made with Franco and wouldn’t line up with the soapy twists that fans have come to expect.
Instead, it seems someone else may be responsible for Franco’s death – and that someone may be Cameron Webber (William Lipton).
Let’s consider the evidence. For starters, Cameron has been concerned about the threats to Franco’s life in Port Charles and has vowed to do something about them if need be.
That’s especially true when it comes to Jason. We’ve seen Cameron become increasingly protective of Franco – and he’s tried to downplay the idea of Franco himself becoming a threat.
It just feels like a setup for Cameron himself to be the one who takes Franco out. That also lines up with General Hospital spoilers that confirm a traumatic event will turn Cameron’s world upside down.
We should mention that after Jason decides it’s time to act, he’ll make a startling discovery – implying that Jason will find Franco’s already dead instead of killing him.
We could be gearing up for a situation where Cameron has no choice but to kill Franco in self-defense or to defend someone else. It’s also possible Cameron will inadvertently cause Franco’s death by trying to stop Jason.
Either way, General Hospital spoilers say Cameron will face some severe trauma and could easily block out what he’s done as a result.
There’s buzz about Cam not being able to remember his recent actions. We’ve got General Hospital spoilers that back up that idea as well. During the week of March 8-12, Trina Robinson (Sydney Mikayla) and Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy) will try to help Cameron uncover the truth of a situation.
It sounds like Joss and Trina might try to help Cam piece together what really happened.
As for Jason, he’ll confide a secret in Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell). That could mean Jason will feel the need to protect Cameron from what he’s done.
Jason might keep his mouth shut so Cameron won’t have to live with the knowledge that he killed his stepfather – whether it was inadvertent or necessary.
Jason could easily open up to Michael about what really happened and work to conceal it. Scott Baldwin (Kin Shriner) will unleash his wrath in the week ahead – presumably on Jason. Scott may not realize that Cameron’s to blame if this theory holds true.
Nevertheless, General Hospital spoilers for mid-March reveal that Zander Smith (Chad Brannon) will appear for a ghostly visit. Could Cameron remember killing Franco after his memories are unblocked?
Cam might need some support from his biological father in those dark moments. Zander could easily stop Cameron from taking his own life or believing that he’s a monster.
Even Cameron’s shaved head could be a sign of what’s to come. There’s no doubt that Cam looks like he has more of an edge now. That move may have been part of the plan for this shocking twist and the troubled road that’s in store for Cameron.
Bottom line, it looks like Cameron may be responsible for Franco’s death, so Jason may initially cover up the tragedy. We’ll pass along updates as other GH news rolls in.
