General Hospital Spoilers: Friday, June 11 Recap – Nina Tells Wiley Grandpa Sonny Is Alive – Peter’s Hospital Hideout

General Hospital (GH) spoilers recap for Friday, June 11, reveals that Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) told Wiley Quartermaine-Corinthos (Erik and Theo Olson) that Grandpa Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) was alive – and Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart) suspected Peter August’s (Wes Ramsey) hospital hideout. Here’s how things played out on Friday’s action-packed episode.

At the Quartermaine mansion, Valentin stood outside stargazing with “Bailey Quartermaine” aka Louise August (Harper and Scarlett Bloom) in his arms.

Valentin pointed out the north star to “Bailey” and promised he’d always help guide her home if she ever got lost.

Brook Lynn Quartermaine (Amanda Setton) watched the sweet moment and smiled before Valentin encouraged her to pick out her own star for “Bailey” – just not the north one since he’d claimed it.

As Valentin stepped back inside, Nina showed up and looked stunned over the baby.

Nina was looking for Michael, but she soon learned this was Valentin and Brook Lynn’s “daughter.” Brook Lynn returned and assured Nina that she wasn’t a couple with Valentin. She noted that if Nina was there to say all was forgiven, Valentin was free and available.

Once Brook Lynn stepped out of the room, Valentin told Nina he was glad Michael had decided to let her back in Wiley’s life.

Nina was also happy for Valentin and knew he’d be a great father to “Bailey.” Valentin admitted he wished the baby could’ve been his with Nina.

Talk turned to whether Nina would stick around Port Charles, but she wasn’t sure she could leave behind what she found in Nixon Falls.

Nina confirmed she found someone unexpected and wouldn’t be reconciling with Jasper “Jax” Jacks (Ingo Rademacher).

Valentin wondered if he could see Nina again, but she simply suggested they set up a time so she could see Charlotte Cassadine (Scarlett Fernandez). Once Nina walked out, Valentin crouched down by “Bailey’s” bassinet and admitted he just made a fool of himself.

Valentin felt Nina had moved on and knew he should be happy for her. He talked about how much being a father had changed him and insisted that “Bailey” was a gift from the universe.

Valentin knew he had no right to ask for more, but he alluded to wanting more anyway.

At GH, Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) found Elizabeth Baldwin (Rebecca Herbst) looking emotional in the chapel. Liz explained the failed cure situation, but Anna insisted Harrison Chase (Josh Swickard) still had Peter as an option and rushed out.

“Forgive me. Please forgive me and Finn,” Liz said once she was alone in the chapel again.

In Chase’s room, Hamilton Finn (Michael Easton) was sorry he couldn’t give Chase better news. Chase wondered how long he had left – if it was months, weeks, days… Finn couldn’t say, but he assured Chase that he wasn’t giving up yet.

At Chase’s urging, Finn filled Jackie Templeton (Kim Delaney) and Gregory Chase (Gregory Harrison) in on the severity of Chase’s condition.

Gregory and Jackie soon sat by Chase’s bedside to let him know how proud they were that he’d become a cop and followed the path he wanted.

In the hallway, Michael and Willow Tait (Katelyn MacMullen) discussed Nina having a spot in Wiley’s life again. Michael admitted he was more worried about Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright) and what she might do if she found out Jax blackmailed him.

Willow and Michael hoped Nina played by the rules and respected boundaries – that way Jax would get what he wanted. If Nina did anything Michael and Willow viewed as detrimental to Wiley, then they couldn’t allow her to be around him.

That could lead to Jax’s retaliation, so Willow hoped it wouldn’t come to that. She couldn’t even imagine how devastated Chase would be.

At Jax’s place, he opened the door to an angry Carly. “What did you do to make Michael change his mind about Nina?” Carly demanded to know. She lashed out and suggested Jax must have something on Michael.

Carly warned that when she figured all this out – if it was what she thought – Jax was going to regret it.

Back at the Quartermaine mansion, Anna showed up and met “Bailey Lois” before talk turned to Chase’s dire situation.

Anna worried that Peter might’ve destroyed all the antidote vials before taking off. She was also perplexed since Peter seemed to have teleported out of the hospital without a trace.

When Anna confirmed that Peter’s car was still on the premises, Valentin pointed out the place was a labyrinth. He felt it was possible that Peter was still hiding out in the hospital.

Valentin added that it was going to take more than lucky guesses to save Chase’s life. Brook Lynn overheard that part, so Valentin and Anna filled her in on the details of Chase’s poison predicament off screen.

After Anna left, Brook Lynn questioned Valentin about the nature of his relationship with her. Valentin made it clear Anna was just a friend, but Brook Lynn seemed skeptical.

However, Valentin flipped it around on Brook Lynn by implying her relationship with Chase seemed more than friendly, too.

Back at the hospital, Damian Spinelli (Bradford Anderson) talked to Maxie Jones (Kirsten Storms) about what went wrong with her plan to protect the baby. Maxie suggested the scheme blew up before she ever left the apartment – “most of it anyway.”

Spinelli was confused, but Maxie pushed him to let it go and get her home to the kids. She felt it was her responsibility to explain to Georgie Spinelli (Lily Fisher) and James West (Owen and Curtis Rufca) while their little sister wasn’t home yet.

Maxie indeed sat with Georgie later and claimed she gave Louise to a sad friend who couldn’t have children. She noted that her friend fell in love with Louise instantly, so Maxie knew it’d make her happy to care for Louise for a little bit.

Maxie insisted it was a temporary situation, though she couldn’t reveal exactly when Louise would be back. Spinelli seemed concerned about Maxie being so certain of Louise’s return, but Maxie made it clear that she had to keep hope alive.

When Willow visited Chase’s room again, he admitted Finn had no idea why the cure didn’t work and didn’t know what else to try. Willow worried about what would happen to Chase, but he said that depended on Willow.

Chase was moved by the way Willow stuck by his side through all this and hoped she knew how much he loved her.

“Willow, will you marry me?” Chase asked. He acknowledged that it was a less than romantic proposal and reflected on how he planned a proper one before the fake affair happened.

Chase knew he was being unfair by asking Willow to marry him, but he confessed that his days were numbered. He wanted those days to be filled with Willow as his wife, though he assured Willow she could run if she wanted.

Willow assured Chase that she’d be honored to be his wife and smiled in an emotional moment. Later, Chase spread the good news to Jackie and Gregory as Willow looked uneasy.

At the Quartermaine gatehouse, Nina assured Michael that she wouldn’t mention Nelle Benson (Chloe Lanier) and was thrilled to have a visit with Wiley. Nina gave Wiley a toy truck to play with and explained that her friend told her she should bring a gift.

While Michael was out of the room, Nina lowered her voice and told Wiley that she ran into his grandpa. Nina also recalled how she was going to tell Grandma Carly before she got so mean.

Now Nina was free to visit Wiley and everything was going well, so she didn’t know what to do.

“Do you think that I should tell Grandma Carly that Grandpa Sonny is alive?” Nina asked Wiley. Afterward, Nina cuddled Wiley and assured him that she’d be spending lots of time with him. Carly appeared in the doorway and glared at Nina soon after.
