General Hospital Spoilers: Friday, June 18 Recap – Chase Marries Willow, Flatlines - Vincent Novak Sabotaging Sonny’s Business

General Hospital (GH) spoilers recap for Friday, June 18, reveals that Vincent Novak was revealed as the one sabotaging Sonny Corinthos’ (Maurice Benard) business while Harrison Chase (Josh Swickard) flatlined after marrying Willow Tait (Katelyn MacMullen).

At Pozzulo’s on Friday’s GH episode, Brick (Stephen A. Smith) had bad news since this was about a lot more than one lost shipment. After Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright) joined Brick’s discussion with Jason Morgan (Steve Burton), Brick insisted one of their own people sold them out.

Vincent Novak offered to pay double for shipments and had been telling everyone that Sonny’s organization was weak without him. Carly was offended because she assumed it was because she was a woman.

However, Brick explained that it was due to Carly’s lack of experience and pointed out that Jason had far more of it.

People were used to one boss instead of two, so Carly’s part in all this was contributing to the perception of weakness and would lead to them being challenged.

Brick pointed out that they just got out of a war with Cyrus Renault (Jeff Kober) and wondered if Carly really wanted to start another one.

After Brick left, Carly and Jason talked about needing to get ahead of this. Jason felt they could prove the organization was still formidable, but he added that it’d take time. A concerned Carly wondered how much!

In the hospital chapel, Willow was dressed for her wedding day. She thanked Sasha Gilmore (Sofia Mattsson) for helping with the decorations and explained there was a chair so she could sit across from Chase in his wheelchair.

Willow was confident in her decision to marry Chase despite being in love with Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell). Chase had done so much for Willow, so she wanted to give him this last gift in return.

Sasha offered Willow a butterfly pin that her grandmother gave her on her sixteenth birthday. She thought Willow could use it to check off all the boxes of something old, new, borrowed and blue.

As for Maxie Jones (Kirsten Storms), she called Brook Lynn Quartermaine (Amanda Setton) for baby updates and insisted she was coming over to see Louise August (Harper and Scarlett Bloom).

Brook Lynn worried that Peter August (Wes Ramsey) might be monitoring Maxie – and if he was indeed spying, Maxie could lead him straight to Louise.

Brook Lynn felt that would mean their whole scheme was for nothing, so Maxie backed down on the idea of visiting the baby. Soon after, Maxie found herself on the hot seat as Sam McCall (Kelly Monaco) brought up security footage questions.

Sam filled Maxie in on the hidden camera and the video she’d watched along with Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna).

Since it was obvious “Chloe Jennings” (Kimberly J. Brown) worked for Peter, Sam wondered how Maxie could be so sure that “Chloe” didn’t take the baby to meet him.

Maxie was adamant that Peter did NOT have her child. She argued that “Chloe” claimed she’d be a better mother and wanted the baby for herself before begging Sam to believe her.

At the country house in Pautauk, Dante remained suspicious of Austin (Roger Howarth). He pointed out that the property management company wasn’t aware of the camera, but Austin didn’t expect them to say differently out of fear of a lawsuit.

Austin pushed Dante to drop his unfounded suspicions and insisted that he wanted to help find Ms. Maxie’s baby. He asked if that sounded like something a kidnapper would say, so Dante admitted that it did.

In Dante’s experience, it was common for criminals to insert themselves into the drama they created since they got a kick out of watching the cops try to figure it out.

Austin suggested he was so glad he didn’t live in Dante’s world. He then noticed that the map was wrong, so that led to Austin and Dante searching a missed area in the woods.

Austin suddenly lunged at Dante and knocked him out of the path of the old mineshaft. He felt like Dante wouldn’t have listened if he’d told him instead of shoving him.

Austin felt like something must’ve broken through those boards and pulled out a rope so he could repel down. Dante insisted on doing it instead – and soon after, he yelled back up that he thought he’d found their kidnapper.

Back at GH, Hamilton Finn (Michael Easton) had a sweet moment with Chase and insisted he should hang in there. Finn suggested that if Chase kept fighting, he might get a miracle.

Chase felt like marrying Willow was his miracle – and he eventually shared a tender scene of friendship with Michael.

After Michael and Chase praised each other for being good men, Chase said he was happy Michael would be there for Willow after he was gone.

Gregory Chase (Gregory Chase) quickly got ordained online at Chase’s request and was all set to perform the ceremony soon after. However, Chase couldn’t get married yet since someone was missing.

At the Quartermaine mansion, Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) filled Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart) in on a helicopter with the call sign covered up. Valentin agreed that sounded like Peter.

Anna hoped to find the pilot since he might know where Peter was going to take Maxie and the baby. She thought maybe that’s where Peter was now.

After Finn called Anna for help, she brought Violet Finn (Jophielle Love) to GH for Chase’s wedding.

Violet was sorry about Chase feeling sick, but she knew her daddy would make him all better. She was thrilled when Chase asked her to be his flower girl and gave him a big hug.

Chase got choked up as he told Violet how much he had loved being her uncle. Violet told Chase not to cry since he was so lucky to be getting married, so Chase replied that he was very lucky as tears continued to fall.

Finn filled Elizabeth Baldwin (Rebecca Herbst) in on his hope that the DNA results were wrong. He was still waiting on the latest ones so he could give Chase the new cure. Once it was time for the wedding, everyone gathered for the bittersweet occasion.

Chase admitted his hands weren’t working so well, so he got Michael to slip the wedding ring on Willow’s finger for him. After vows were exchanged, Chase kissed his bride and then grew weak.

Once Chase was back in his room, Jackie Templeton (Kim Delaney) and Willow sat by his bedside before he suddenly flatlined. Meanwhile, Finn got the DNA confirmation he needed and declared that Gregory was Chase’s father.

General Hospital spoilers say Finn will soon work frantically to save Chase’s life, so keep watching! CDL will have all the scorching General Hospital spoilers, updates and news you’re looking for, so make us your one-stop source.
