General Hospital Spoilers: Friday, March 5 Recap - Franco Clobbers Peter - Michael Slams Nina - Gregory Overhears Jackie & Finn

General Hospital (GH) spoilers recap for Friday, March 5, reveal that Britt Westbourne (Kelly Thiebaud) continued to tend to Maxie Jones (Kirsten Storms) in the Metro Court ballroom.

Maxie thought the baby was coming, and Peter August (Wes Ramsey) insisted on rushing over to Maxie, but Robert Scorpio (Tristan Rogers) and Mac Scorpio (John J. York) forcibly kept Peter at bay.

Peter then had words with Sam McCall (Kelly Monaco), Robert, and Anna Devane (Finola Hughes), and he rushed out of the ballroom, declaring that he was going to see Maxie at the hospital.

Anna and Robert talked briefly, and Robert was gracious about not saying “I told you so” to Anna about Peter.

Up in Jackie Templeton’s (Kim Delaney) suite, Hamilton Finn (Michael Easton) arrived to pick up Violet Finn (Jophielle Love), but Jackie said that Harrison Chase (Josh Swickard) took Violet to his place.

Jackie and Finn rehashed everything that had happened in the ballroom and about how Anna kept Peter’s true parentage from him but confided in Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart).

Jackie said that she knew how much Finn valued honesty, and that was why she sat on the truth about Chase all these years. Finn understood how difficult that whole situation was for Jackie, and he said he needed to go pick up Violet and explain things to her. Jackie asked Finn not to go.

In Franco Baldwin’s (Roger Howarth) suite, Franco watched the recording of himself from when he thought he was Drew Cain (Billy Miller).

In the recording, “Drew” said that Franco needed to fight for the life that he had with his family, and that triggered something in Franco, who flashed back to a Drew memory of Peter. “Oh my God, it was Peter,” Franco said to himself. “It’s been Peter all along.”

Right outside the ballroom, Sam and Dante Falconeri (Dominick Zamprogna) talked, and Sam insisted that nothing good would come from making Peter pay for what he did to Drew and Jason Morgan (Steve Burton).

Soon, Franco came along looking for Peter and he learned from Sam and Dante that the wedding was off. Meanwhile, up in Peter’s suite, Peter got a gun out of the safe.

At the Quartermaine mansion, Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) sheepishly told Willow Tait (Katelyn MacMullen), Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell), and Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright) that she thought it was important to be honest with Wiley Quartermaine Corinthos (Erik and Theo Olson).

Willow and Michael left the room, and Carly asked Nina what on earth she was thinking by talking to Wiley about Nelle Benson Jerome (Chloe Lanier).

Willow left, and Michael returned to Carly and Nina, where he proceeded to tell Nina that this bonding experiment for her and Wiley wasn’t working out. Nina looked horrified and heartbroken, but Michael was firm, saying that Nina needed to take a step back.

Nina left upset, and Michael told Carly that he can’t see Willow hurt like that again.

At Chase’s apartment, Violet peppered Chase with questions about why the wedding didn’t happen, and suddenly Gregory Chase (Gregory Harrison) showed up and worked his magic with Violet, getting her to bed.

Chase opened up to Gregory about how Willow has developed feelings for Michael, and then Willow showed up, still upset about Wiley.

Gregory took off, and Willow told Chase about how Nina told Wiley about Nelle. Chase realized that this all tied back to the baby that Willow lost, and he comforted Willow, saying that he wanted to help her heal then, and that he’d never hurt her again.

At the hospital, Britt and Mac wheeled Maxie in and got her some tests to make sure the baby was ok. The ultrasound showed that the baby was looking good, and Maxie started in on Britt about what she knew about Peter and when.

Britt said that she knew that her mother was in town and that she was exonerated. Maxie wondered why Britt didn’t warn her.

“I told you to marry someone else,” Britt said, noting that she hadn’t been sure about Liesl Obrecht’s (Kathleen Gati) allegations, but then when Peter tricked her into accessing the GH server, she began to suspect him.

Maxie said there was no proof of Peter’s guilt, and that she didn’t know if Peter was guilty, but she did know that Peter would never hurt her.

Back at the Metro Court, Robert and Anna got an update from Mac that Maxie was ok, and then they proceeded to talk about whether Maxie will believe Peter or the accusations against him. Anna told Robert that now she had to go face Maxie, then Finn.

Outside the ballroom, Franco, Sam, and Dante continued talking. Franco got up to speed on all of Peter’s crimes. “Where’s Peter now?” Franco asked. Sam and Dante said that he probably headed to the hospital.

Franco said that the voice in his head was Drew, which stunned Sam. Franco told Sam to call Jason and tell him that “I’m still me.” Franco took off, and Sam called Jason.

Up in Jackie’s suite, Finn stood in the open doorway as Jackie urged him to stay with her and talk to Violet in the morning. Just as Jackie mentioned something about how she was attracted to Finn back in the day, Gregory walked up and overheard the comment.

Finally, in the staircase, Peter went running down the stairs and whipped out his gun. Suddenly, someone wearing gloves knocked Peter out cold with a tire iron. The camera panned up, and it was Franco, who coldly wiped Peter’s blood off of the tire iron.
