General Hospital (GH) spoilers for Friday, November 12, tease that Curtis Ashford (Donnell Turner) will face the mystery man’s (Robert Gossett) big reveal while Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) offers redemption advice. Esme Prince (Avery Kristen Pohl) will also accuse Trina Robinson (Sydney Mikayla), so let’s talk about Friday’s stunning show.
For starters, Robert Scorpio (Tristan Rogers) will catch Olivia Quartermaine (Lisa LoCicero) off guard when he insists their kiss was anything but meaningless!
There are a couple ways to take a statement like that. It’s possible Robert has been harboring some feelings for Olivia that he’ll want to get off his chest.
However, Robert could just as easily argue that the kiss meant Olivia was hurting and that she needs to work things out with Ned Quartermaine (Wally Kurth).
That’s perhaps the most likely option since Olivia and Ned have some warm moments coming up at the art exhibit with Leo Falconeri (Easton Rocket Sweda).
Until then, Maxie Jones (Kirsten Storms) will get annoyed over Austin Gatlin Holt’s (Roger Howarth) apparent friendship with Gladys Corbin (Bonnie Burroughs).
Austin may suggest Gladys is really more of an acquaintance and express curiosity about the money Maxie gave Kip (Artie O’Daly) the bartender.
As for Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart), he’ll get fierce with someone in his hospital room.
Now that Austin has tipped him off to a scam, Valentin may demand that Gladys spill everything. “Do you want to be on my bad side?” Valentin asks angrily in Friday’s preview video.
Of course, Gladys may wiggle out of this for now since she caved after that run-in with “Paulie” aka Kip. Even so, Brook Lynn Quartermaine (Amanda Setton) won’t be ready to pop the Champagne just yet.
Brook Lynn will warn Maxie that Harrison Chase (Josh Swickard) could be a problem since he’s asking too many questions and could be putting the clues together.
At the gallery, Esme will show up and demand to know if Trina is trying to steal her boyfriend.
Trina will deny it and perhaps point out that even her friendship with Spencer Cassadine (Nicholas Chavez) is in rocky territory these days.
That said, Trina does care about Spencer and certainly doesn’t think Esme is a good influence on him.
Trina is known for telling it like it is, so GH spoilers say Esme will fume after facing some honest criticism.
As for Spencer, he’ll take Trina’s words to heart and continue trying to be his own man.
Spencer will fill Sonny in on his decision to renounce his father and the Cassadine fortune. He’ll hope that shows Sonny that he’s serious about becoming a better person, but Sonny may not be convinced this is going to stick.
Spencer will ask what else he can do to prove it to Sonny, but it’s going to take time to rebuild trust and make Sonny see him in a new light.
Sonny will deliver some great advice as Spencer keeps heading down the path of redemption, so Spencer should be appreciative.
At The Savoy, Curtis will tell Portia Robinson (Brook Kerr) that he’ll stop anyone who tries to take what’s his.
Now that Curtis has grown suspicious of Linc Brown (Dan Buran), he’ll be on alert about any potential threats that come along.
Before Friday’s episode concludes, Curtis will get a surprise visitor. It looks like it’ll be time for “Marshall” aka the mystery man to meet Curtis face to face.
Curtis is in for a shock when he learns who “Marshall” really is. That’s set to happen on Monday’s episode, but Friday’s cliffhanger should set the stage for what we can assume is an “I’m your father” bombshell.
