General Hospital Spoilers: Friday, November 12 Recap – Valentin’s BLQ Surveillance - Chase Accuses Brook Lynn of Bailey Lie

General Hospital (GH) spoilers recap for Friday, November 12, reveals that Harrison Chase (Josh Swickard) accused Brook Lynn Quartermaine (Amanda Setton) of a “Bailey Quartermaine” (Harper and Scarlett Bloom) birth lie while Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart) ordered BLQ put under constant surveillance.

At GH, Chase cornered Maxie Jones (Kirsten Storms) and Austin Gatlin Holt (Roger Howarth) to gather more information for the missing Louise August (Harper and Scarlett Bloom) case.

Maxie pointed out they’d already given their statements, but Chase insisted he was Maxie’s best shot at getting her daughter back.

Chase started grilling Austin too hard for Maxie’s taste, so she threatened to report him to Mac Scorpio (John J. York) and later downplayed her reaction to Austin.

Maxie acted like she just didn’t like all the suspicion surrounding him, so Austin appreciated her coming to his defense.

In Valentin’s hospital room, he reminded Gladys Corbin (Bonnie Burroughs) that she didn’t want to be on his bad side and pushed her to come clean about Brook Lynn’s scam. Gladys couldn’t since someone might get hurt, but she did warn Valentin not to trust Brook Lynn.

After Chase showed up to ask Valentin what he knew about Austin, the detective also wound up talking to Valentin about Brook Lynn’s girls’ night right before giving birth.

Since Brook Lynn had given Yuri the slip, Valentin noted that also meant BLQ gave birth on her own elsewhere without him.

As Gladys headed out, Maxie realized Austin was friendly with her and advised against it. Austin acted like Maxie had no room to talk considering her BFF was untrustworthy Brook Lynn!

At Kelly’s, Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) was pleased to see Spencer Cassadine (Nicholas Chavez) had become a working man.

Spencer suggested it felt like the worst mistake of his life, but Sonny felt this would be good for Spencer and warned about not taking shortcuts.

Sonny also thought Spencer should apologize to Ava Jerome Cassadine (Maura West) – but only if he meant it.

At the gallery, Esme Prince (Avery Kristen Pohl) showed up and demanded to know if Trina Robinson (Sydney Mikayla) was trying to steal her boyfriend.

Trina acted like the accusation was ridiculous and vehemently denied it, but Esme still acted like it was best if Trina didn’t see so much of Spencer.

Trina made it clear that she made her own decisions about her friendships and refused to let Esme dictate her life.

Esme managed to keep her cool in front of Trina, but she clutched her nails so close that she drew blood and noticed it on the way out.

Meanwhile, Ned Quartermaine (Wally Kurth) filled Brook Lynn in on the kiss he witnessed between Olivia Quartermaine (Lisa LoCicero) and Robert Scorpio (Tristan Rogers).

Ned didn’t think Olivia’s heart was in their marriage anymore.

After Brook Lynn gave Ned advice, she ran into Sonny and talked about “Bailey” with him.

Gladys popped up and frustrated Brook Lynn, but she reassured BLQ about the secret being safe once Sonny was gone.

Brook Lynn dished out another threat and mentioned “Paulie,” so Chase appeared and wanted to know who that was. Chase also privately asked Brook Lynn why she was lying about the night “Bailey” was born.

Back in Valentin’s room at GH, he called Yuri and insisted he needed to know where Brook Lynn was at every moment.

Over at the Quartermaine mansion, Olivia greeted Robert and ranted about Ned punching him over a meaningless kiss.

Robert felt the kiss was anything but meaningless and suggested Olivia turned to him in times of trouble. He felt like Olivia saw him as an idealized hero and used him to avoid dealing with her marriage woes.

Robert also addressed Olivia’s fears that perhaps Ned was right about his Leo Falconeri (Easton Rocket Sweda) concerns. He offered guidance about how Olivia could be the hero of her own story.

After Robert insisted he’d always be there for Olivia, she embraced him – just in time for Ned to walk in on the close moment.

Robert exited awkwardly before Ned invited Olivia to the new exhibit that was opening at the gallery.

Once Ned hustled out, Olivia remained distraught over the state of her marriage.

At The Savoy, Curtis Ashford (Donnell Turner) told Portia Robinson (Brook Kerr) about his concerns regarding the mob trying to get a foothold there.

Curtis summoned Linc Brown (Dan Buran) under the guise of doing more business with him, but he eventually showed him the mystery man sketch and demanded to know if that’s who put him up to the recent favor.

Linc’s reaction confirmed it, but he was unwilling to offer up details. That led to Curtis’ angrily manhandling Linc before “Marshall” (Robert Gossett) appeared and insisted he was the one Curtis wanted.
