General Hospital (GH) spoilers for Friday, November 19, tease that Sasha Gilmore (Sofia Mattsson) will face a serious complication while Harrison Chase (Josh Swickard) claims “Bailey Quartermaine” (Harper and Scarlett Bloom) as his daughter. Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison) will also hunt down Peter August (Wes Ramsey), so let’s talk about what’s in store.
At GH, Elizabeth Baldwin (Rebecca Herbst) will tell Dr. Sofia Navarro (Christine Ferraro) that something is seriously wrong. Sasha’s blood pressure is too high and she’s experiencing pain all over, so Liz will battle growing fears.
The pain will get even worse once it’s time to push, so there should be a risk to both Sasha and her baby boy.
The good news is Sasha will survive since she’s featured in spoilers over the next couple weeks.
The bad news is there are no guarantees about what the future holds for Sasha and Brando Corbin’s (Johnny Wactor) newborn son.
At the boxing gym, it looks like Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell) will take Carly Corinthos’ (Laura Wright) side after Willow Tait (Katelyn MacMullen) explains what happened.
Carly was threatening to call the cops over an accidental encounter, so it’s easy to see who the irrational one is in this scenario!
However, Michael is quite the mama’s boy and will no doubt defend Carly’s actions.
Michael may remind Willow of the pain Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) put all of them through – and that includes Wiley Quartermaine-Corinthos (Caleb and Kyler Ends).
Even so, Willow had to make a split-second decision and arguably made the right one.
There was no point in upsetting Wiley by separating him from Grandma Nina in that moment. Willow won’t get why this is so hard to understand, so maybe Michael will eventually try to see things her way.
At Charlie’s Pub, Harrison Chase (Josh Swickard) will put his detective skills to good use and crack a difficult case. Of course, we’re talking about the case of who “Bailey” belongs to and how Maxie Jones’ (Kristen Storms) baby fits in.
Chase will figure out that “Bailey” is actually Louise August, so he’ll want to find Brook Lynn and get confirmation. Meanwhile, Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart) will continue to battle devastation over his latest realization.
Valentin knows “Bailey” isn’t his daughter, but he’ll push Brook Lynn to say the words on Friday’s emotional episode.
That’ll lead to Valentin’s wheels turning as he wonders about who the real father is. Chase will ultimately burst in and claim he’s the “baby daddy,” so Brook Lynn will be shocked over the detective’s decision to step up.
Over with Maxie and Nina, they’ll commiserate about the steep price of keeping secrets. “I’m afraid it’s highly unlikely,” Nina tells Maxie in Friday’s preview clip.
Perhaps Nina will take a rather pessimistic view about forgiveness and the idea that things can ever really be normal again.
As for Carly, she’ll keep pushing Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) to tell her why he’s so determined to defend Nina.
Carly will beg Sonny to help her understand, so will Sonny admit his relationship with Nina became more than friendly in Nixon Falls?
Since Carly will end up in tears soon, Sonny’s confession might be the reason why. The gang on Cassadine Island will have much bigger problems, so let’s talk about the life-or-death ramifications that are brewing.
Britt Westbourne (Kelly Thiebaud) will insist they have to leave and will want to take their big chance.
As for Drew, he’ll hope to end this nightmare and get them all to safety. “And if I kill you, that’s just a bonus,” Drew says while holding a gun in Friday’s preview video.
Based on Drew’s tone, he should still be deactivated at this point. Drew will want to take down Peter and anyone else who gets in the way of that plan, but Peter is one slippery character!
Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) is going to land in another tight spot soon, so we should keep building to his presumed death at Peter’s hands.
