General Hospital Spoilers: GH 2022 Preview – Crumbling Couples, Terrifying Showdowns, & Ghosts of the Past

General Hospital (GH) spoilers reveal that we’ve got a 2022 preview for you, so let’s discuss some terrifying showdowns, crumbling couples and ghosts of the past. Here’s what viewers can expect once the new year begins.

After the judge’s ruling in Pennsylvania, there’ll be plenty more drama in store for Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) and Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard).

Scott Baldwin (Kin Shriner) will celebrate a big win with Liesl Obrecht (Kathleen Gati) while Sonny’s marriage to Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright) takes a huge hit.

Meanwhile, Victor Cassadine (Charles Shaughnessy) will get too close to Spencer Cassadine (Nicholas Chavez) and Nikolas Cassadine (Marcus Coloma) for comfort.

Laura Collins (Genie Francis) will battle concerns about her family as Victor’s presence in Port Charles remains unsettling.

Victor will be an issue for Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) and Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart) as the two of them strengthen their connection.

Love could bloom between Valentin and Anna in the new year, but they’ll have to deal with Peter August (Wes Ramsey) drama on top of Victor’s threat.

That’s because Peter’s on the verge of coming out of his coma and will pick up where he left off in terms of seeking what he wants.

Peter may learn the truth about Louise August’s (London and Jett Prinzo-Berendt) whereabouts from a surprising source.

We also know Austin Gatlin Holt (Roger Howarth) could put someone innocent at risk through his revenge on Brook Lynn Quartermaine (Amanda Setton).

It sounds like Austin may inadvertently manage to spill the “Bailey Quartermaine” beans and put Louise in jeopardy.

Maxie Jones’ (Kirsten Storms) will face her reckoning day thanks to Peter, but Felicia Jones (Kristina Wagner) will make some heroic moves to protect her daughter – ones that could put her in grave danger.

One Scorpio clan member will land on the operating table in the new year, so that could be Felicia if she’s injured going to war with Peter.

Regardless, there’ll be other mayhem for Brook Lynn and Harrison Chase (Josh Swickard) in the meantime thanks to their growing connection as well as Tracy Quartermaine’s (Jane Elliot) return.

Tracy will bring some stunning news home with her that’ll influence Port Charles in a big way. We’ll see Laura Collins (Genie Francis) and many others affected by Tracy’s comeback, so this will certainly shake things up.

Leo Falconeri (Easton Rocket Sweda) is indeed on the autism spectrum, so his specialist will confirm that to Olivia Quartermaine (Lisa LoCicero) and Ned Quartermaine (Wally Kurth).

Once Ned and Olivia know for sure, they’ll take the next steps to give Leo any extra help he might need.

Elizabeth “Liz” Baldwin (Rebecca Herbst) and Hamilton Finn (Michael Easton) will kick off their new romantic adventure with a first date, but GH spoilers say they’ll be haunted by old loves and new problems in the months ahead.

Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison) will be in a similar boat as he deals with lingering feelings for Sam McCall (Kelly Monaco), who may find herself pulled back in his direction as well.

Sam will be distracted while Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna) focuses on the Corinthos clan and a push for peace.

As for Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell) and Willow Tait (Katelyn MacMullen), their relationship will be tested by the outcome of Nina’s trial and the Nixon Falls secret Willow kept.

Willow will also plan on taking a trip overseas, but she’ll face a troubling shocker while she gears up for it.

Brando Corbin (Johnny Wactor) and Sasha Gilmore (Sofia Mattsson) will try to keep love alive, but can that love survive their baby boy’s death?

Moving on from that loss won’t be easy, so there’ll be some challenges that could tear this couple apart.

Alexis Davis (Nancy Lee Grahn) will move forward with her goal of returning to college, but that’ll bring some self-doubts and sticky situations.

Shawn Butler (Sean Blakemore) will also have some tricks up his sleeve when it comes to Nikolas and the payback that still seems to be coming for him.

Spencer’s world could implode thanks to Esme Prince (Avery Kirsten Pohl) and the damage she intends to do to her boyfriend’s inner circle.

Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy), Cameron Webber (William Lipton) and Trina Robinson (Sydney Mikayla) will all be pulled into Esme’s twisted web – starting with the cabin crisis that’s brewing.

Over with Britt Westbourne (Kelly Thiebaud), she’ll help Brad Cooper (Parry Shen) find his footing against Selina Wu’s (Lydia Look) wishes.

TJ Ashford (Tajh Bellow) and Molly Lansing-Davis (Haley Pullos) will also have a helpful attitude as they pitch in where they’re needed.

Nikolas and Ava Jerome Cassadine (Maura West) will have to make some decisions about how Spencer fits in their future.

We’ll also see Martin Grey (Michael E. Knight) and Lucy Coe (Lynn Herring) grow closer, so Martin will ignore Valentin’s upcoming advice to steer clear of her.

General Hospital spoilers say 2022 will bring some terrific episodes and move some gripping stories along.
