General Hospital (GH) spoilers tease that Sasha Gilmore (Sofia Mattsson) will soon be the subject of an in-depth interview by journalist Jackie Templeton (Kim Delaney).
On the General Hospital episode set to air on Wednesday, January 27, Jackie will interview Sasha for a segment of Good Morning America (GMA) that will air in the fictional world of Port Charles.
ABC viewers might already be familiar with the third hour of GMA, called GMA3: What You Need To Know. The formatting of the interview between Jackie and Sasha will apparently be consistent with what would normally air on the news and lifestyle program.
Of course, GH viewers know that when Jackie was originally called to town by Lulu Spencer (Emme Rylan), she was described as a heavy-hitting reporter, and Lulu’s hope was that Jackie would be able to tackle the Cyrus Renault (Jeff Kober) story.
So, it’s looking like Sasha will probably be interviewed by Jackie about her interactions with Cyrus.
Of course, Cyrus will probably be livid with Sasha if she discloses her experiences with him. Sasha could talk about how she took drugs that Cyrus provided and wound up having a heart attack and nearly dying.
Cyrus won’t take well to this bad press, and it could put both Sasha and Jackie in his crosshairs.
During the same week on GH, it seems that Peter August (Wes Ramsey) will publish a story in The Invader that will raise some eyebrows.
And since Sasha and Maxie Jones (Kirsten Storms) recently got shot down by Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) about publishing a tell-all about Sasha, perhaps it will be Peter who will publish the story.
If that’s the case, then Cyrus is probably going to get hit both in the printed press and on GMA3: What You Need To Know as well, and he’s surely going to want to strike back at someone. Perhaps Cyrus will set his sights on Peter, too, which could get interesting.
At any rate, look for a crossover of sorts as GMA3: What You Need To Know makes an “appearance” of on General Hospital.
We should note that none of the GMA3 anchors are scheduled to appear on GH for the segment, but the format of Jackie’s interview with Sasha should look familiar to viewers of GMA3.
