General Hospital (GH) spoilers tease that Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) and Britt Westbourne (Kelly Thiebaud) will go on their first real date in Port Charles eventually. Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright) is bound to object once they’re both free and in a position to enjoy romance as a couple.
However, Jason won’t let Carly push him around when it comes to the new woman in his life. This is one time when Jason will put his foot down and follow his heart – no matter how Carly feels about it!
Jason’s name will soon be cleared, and Britt will land back in PC to pursue an uncertain future. Britt knows she has the genetic marker for Huntington’s disease, but now she’s facing a new sort of unknown.
The tremors were unrelated to Huntington’s, so Britt can’t predict when she’ll experience real symptoms and how long it’ll be before she dies a difficult death. Jason wants Britt to focus on living instead – and part of that plan should include romancing her a bit.
Britt deserves to feel special and forget about her problems for a while. This could lead to a nice dinner out or maybe some drinks at The Savoy once it opens.
There’ll be ways for Jason to show he’s smitten and quite interested in pursuing a future with Britt – whether that be a short future or a long one.
Jason may not be the most romantic guy around, but he’s capable of some smooth moves when he puts some effort into it. This will be Jason’s chance to show Britt that she doesn’t have to be some sort of secret on the side.
Jason should be all in and unashamed of the connection they’ve found. It’ll just be a matter of Britt embracing it as well and putting her fears about her condition aside.
General Hospital spoilers say Carly will grill Jason about his intentions during the week of June 14-18. That may tie in with Britt since Carly’s sure to wonder exactly what’s going on between them.
Carly isn’t a big fan of Britt and will probably disapprove of Jason taking any big steps forward with her as a couple.
Even so, Jason will do what he wants – and what he’ll want is to keep getting to know Britt. This could be the start of a beautiful, long-lasting relationship if Jason and Britt can focus on their deep bond. We’ll fill you in as other GH news and updates emerge.
