General Hospital (GH) spoilers tease that Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) may be in grave danger. GH fans know Cyrus Renault (Jeff Kober) set Jason up to take the fall for Franco Baldwin’s (Roger Howarth) murder with a little help from Gladys Corbin (Bonnie Burroughs).
So far, Cyrus seems content to let Jason rot behind bars, but that may not be the case for much longer.
If Cyrus gets Florence Grey (Annie Abbott) back with the help of Nikolas Cassadine (Marcus Coloma), it’ll be a game-changer. Cyrus won’t have to tiptoe around any dangerous lines or avoid provoking the Corinthos clan.
On the contrary! Cyrus will want revenge for all the time they kept his dear mother away from him.
Plus, Cyrus probably knows Peter August (Wes Ramsey) is a wildcard who could blow everything. If Cyrus worries Jason could ultimately go free, Cyrus may decide to just take Jason out in the slammer. Cyrus has plenty of people on the inside to take care of deadly plots.
Cyrus offered a veiled threat about going after Alexis Davis (Nancy Lee Grahn) through his connections at Pentonville if Nikolas didn’t cooperate.
Brad Cooper (Parry Shen) was also stabbed on Cyrus’ orders during all the Julian Jerome (William deVry) drama, so it’s not safe to be on Cyrus’ enemy list while locked up.
Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright) has repeatedly insisted that she can’t lose Jason and can’t bear the thought of him being stuck at Pentonville indefinitely.
However, maybe Carly should be more worried about Jason ending up dead! General Hospital spoilers say Cyrus will definitely be a growing threat in the coming episodes.
If Cyrus’ mom is returned to him, all bets will be off. Cyrus may not want to leave any loose ends when it comes to Jason and the possibility that he’ll reclaim his top spot in Sonny Corinthos’ (Maurice Benard) organization.
It’d work out better for Cyrus if Jason was gone permanently – and the only way to ensure that is to order a hit on Jason.
Of course, this could lead to Jason’s escape depending on how things play out. If Jason fears chaos is erupting without him, he might get some help from Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) or anyone else willing to break the law for the sake of innocent Port Charles residents.
All of PC will be at risk if Carly and Jason’s leverage is eliminated, so Jason will be needed on the outside.
