General Hospital (GH) spoilers tease that Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) and Britt Westbourne (Kelly Thiebaud) may have a reason to deepen their bond. GH fans know Britt and Jason have been spending a great deal of time together lately.
Jason considers Britt an ally in his fight against Cyrus Renault (Jeff Kober) – and they’re now on the same side against Peter August (Wes Ramsey), too.
However, Britt and Jason’s interactions took a more personal turn on Valentine’s Day. It was nice to see Jason let loose a little and smile after all his Sam McCall (Kelly Monaco) heartache.
Although Jason and Britt are still in friendship territory right now, GH writers are obviously setting the stage for a romance down the road.
Jason is really starting to care about Britt and her well-being, so he’s in for a shock when he finds out she’s dying – at least Britt seems to think she is. General Hospital spoilers say Britt’s upcoming test results should indeed bring bad news.
Britt might end up breaking down in tears somewhere thinking she’s alone. That’d bring the perfect opportunity for Jason to show up and wonder what’s wrong.
If Britt confesses the terminal illness she’s apparently battling, Jason might decide to take matters into his own hands.
After all, Jason has always been a “take charge” kind of guy. This could be a defining moment for this relationship where Jason boldly refuses to let Britt die.
Jason might admit he’d miss having Britt around, even if he’s not entirely sure of what this bond between them is turning into.
Back when Oscar Nero Quartermaine (Garren Stitt) was battling cancer, Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) offered his resources and connections to Kim Nero (Tamara Braun).
Even when Oscar was running out of options, Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy) kept trying to use Sonny’s power to make something happen and save Oscar’s life.
General Hospital fans also saw how hard Sonny fought to get Mike Corbin (Max Gail) into an experimental trial. That plan didn’t work out either, but the point is Sonny had ways to seek out alternative treatments and some sway on his preferred patients.
Although Oscar and Mike couldn’t be saved, there might be hope for Britt. Now that Jason has filled Sonny’s spot in the organization, he’s basically the new Sonny. That means Jason has access to many of the same resources and connections that Sonny had.
Jason will continue to run the show until Sonny’s survival is ultimately discovered, so could Jason do for Britt what Sonny did for Oscar and Mike? Will Jason look into experimental treatment options in hopes of saving Britt from a grim fate?
