General Hospital (GH) spoilers tease that Cyrus Renault (Jeff Kober) could find yet another way to target the Corinthos family. Cyrus recently delivered a veiled threat by suggesting Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright) could rest easy at night.
The baddie tried to argue that with Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) presumed dead and Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) locked up, Carly and her children would be safe.
Of course, it was clear through Cyrus’ tone and demeanor that he meant the opposite! Cyrus could certainly go after Carly and her kids, so we want to focus on one child in particular.
Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy) could find herself in the prime position to get tangled up in Cyrus’ twisted web.
General Hospital spoilers say Cyrus won’t give up on his painkiller plans at GH. Although Cyrus’ previous efforts to push his latest drug were blocked, that doesn’t mean he’ll just let the idea go.
Cyrus has already sunk a lot of time and energy into what could be a very profitable venture.
Now we’ve got Josslyn, who recently suffered a sprained ankle due to pushing herself too hard at volleyball practice. Elizabeth Baldwin (Rebecca Herbst) warned Josslyn to stay off that ankle, but Joss wasn’t keen on missing out on two weeks of practice before her next tournament.
Joss is incredibly motivated to prove herself right now and get past her waitlist status at her top college pick. There’s a good chance Josslyn will end up going against Liz’s medical advice.
Joss may play on that ankle and injure herself even further. It could lead to Josslyn needing painkillers to cope and compete.
It’d be easy for Cyrus to recruit someone – maybe even from Josslyn’s volleyball team – to offer her his addictive, dangerous painkillers. Cyrus might get Josslyn hooked and take great pleasure in rubbing it in Carly’s face at some point.
Perhaps Cyrus could try to send the message that he’s always going to have control over Carly and those closest to her. Even if Cyrus doesn’t necessarily target Joss, his drugs are still running rampant in Port Charles.
That alone brings the potential for Josslyn to become the next drug addict in town, so this is something to keep an eye on due to Joss’ latest injury and her plan to push herself even harder.
