General Hospital (GH) spoilers tease that Maxie Jones (Kirsten Storms) will break the news of Baby Louise’s death to Felicia Scorpio (Kristina Wagner) and Mac Scorpio (John J. York). To protect her daughter, Maxie will tell a difficult lie – but she’ll have Damian Spinelli (Bradford Anderson) by her side for emotional support.
GH fans know Maxie nearly told Spinelli the truth about her plan to keep her baby girl safe, but they were interrupted by Carly Corinthos’ (Laura Wright) phone call. That led to Maxie sending Spinelli on his way.
In the end, Maxie was glad that she didn’t spill the beans about her plot to fake Baby Lou’s demise. That probably means Maxie will keep Spinelli in the dark and dupe him along with almost everyone else in Port Charles.
Maxie will know the truth along with Brook Lynn Quartermaine (Amanda Setton), who’ll keep the baby as planned if everything goes according to the latest GH spoilers.
Of course, Britt Westbourne (Kelly Thiebaud) will also be in the loop since she was supposed to help before she got caught up in all the fugitive drama with Jason Morgan (Steve Burton).
However, Britt warned Maxie about how tough it’d be to deceive the people closest to her. She wondered if Maxie could really deceive loved ones like Felicia and Mac, but Maxie was willing to do whatever necessary.
Maxie felt like everybody would understand once Peter was dead or locked up – giving her a chance to ultimately reveal the truth and reclaim her child. Despite the staircase fall and head trauma that are ahead for Peter, he’ll apparently live to tell the tale.
Maxie will have to stick to the plan, which means lying to Mac and Felicia about the death of her newborn.
General Hospital spoilers say Spinelli will help Maxie with a painful discussion during the week of June 7-11, so that certainly sounds like the tough moment of Maxie’s dead baby deception.
Maxie will be lying to Spinelli as well, so she’ll battle some guilt all around. It should be unbelievably hard to see the pain in Felicia and Mac’s eyes once she fibs that Louise is gone forever.
Nevertheless, Maxie would rather tell that lie now than risk having it be true later! She has to make sure little Lou stays out of Peter’s evil clutches, so she’ll do what she has to do. We’ll bring you updates as other details roll in.
