General Hospital Spoilers: Monday, January 11 Recap - Mike Helps Sonny - Olivia Breaks Down - Jason Learns Cyrus' Leverage

General Hospital (GH) spoilers recap for Monday, January 11, reveal that Harrison Chase (Josh Swickard) tossed and turned in bed at his apartment, as he remembered his kiss with Willow Corinthos (Katelyn MacMullen) at the Metro Court.

Meanwhile, over at the Quartermaine mansion, Willow remembered the same thing and found herself lost in thought as Tracy Quartermaine (Jane Elliot) tried to get her attention.

Tracy then walked into the Q living room to find Olivia Quartermaine (Lisa LoCicero) crying in Ned Quartermaine’s (Wally Kurth) arms. Tracy bellowed out, “Ned, what did you do?” and Olivia wailed that Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) was presumed dead, then she wondered why Tracy thought it was Ned who had made her cry.

Tracy covered, saying that she assumed Ned told Olivia about Sonny’s presumed death tactlessly. Soon, Willow and Olivia left to head to the Corinthos house, and Tracy told Ned that he had no idea the lengths she’d take to protect his marriage.

Ned griped that he was worried about Alexis Davis (Nancy Lee Grahn) telling Olivia about the affair. Tracy didn’t think that Alexis would talk, since she was on her way to jail or rehab soon.

In some alley, Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) met with Brando Corbin (Johnny Wactor). Jason wanted to know why Brando had saved Cyrus Renault’s (Jeff Kober) life on the pier the other day.

Brando said it was because Cyrus knew the truth about Dev Corbin aka Dev Cerci (Ashton Arbab). Jason was horrified to learn that if Cyrus dies, then the truth about Dev comes out.

Brando copped to being the one who texted Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright) and got her to bring Sonny’s guys to the pier that day, and Jason said that Brando could never involve Carly again. “Stay close to Cyrus until I tell you differently,” Jason demanded of Brando before leaving.

At Molly Lansing-Davis and TJ Ashford’s (Tajh Bellow) apartment, Molly was on her way out when TJ arrived to shower before work. Molly thought they should talk to avoid creating distance between them. TJ blamed his mom and Cyrus for playing major roles in Molly’s night with Brando.

TJ worried that perhaps Molly cheated in part because she got bored with TJ, and Molly said that nothing was further from the truth. Molly said she slept with Brando because she was angry, and that she wanted to spend the rest of her life with TJ.

TJ said that he still loved Molly and wanted to be with her, although they needed to figure some things out before the commitment ceremony is back on. TJ headed to the shower, and Molly followed him, hopping in the shower with him.

At the Corinthos house, Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell), Sasha Gilmore (Sofia Mattsson), Sam McCall (Kelly Monaco), and Dante Falconeri (Dominick Zamprogna) commiserated about losing Sonny while Carly spent a few moments alone grieving in the kitchen.

Soon, Carly and everyone else gathered in the living room to drink Sonny’s scotch and console each other. After a toast to Sonny, Olivia and Willow showed up, and Sasha took off for one of her drug counseling sessions. Sam offered her unwavering support to Carly. Soon Jason arrived, and Willow comforted Michael.

At the hospital, Hamilton Finn (Michael Easton) saw Alexis and wondered if she was there to attend an AA meeting, but Alexis said no. Finn talked with Chase, who worried that Willow might go back to Michael despite them having kissed last night.

Chase said he was happy that he was honest with Willow about his feelings for her, and he noted that he and Finn got their honesty genes from their dad. Finn looked uncomfortable.

Elsewhere, Brando and Sasha bumped into each other and a little flirty banter ensued. Sasha shared that she was headed to a counseling session, and she and Brando bonded over both being substance abusers. Sasha noted that Brando was still working for a drug trafficker, however.

Brando walked off from Sasha and encountered TJ. Brando, who didn’t know that Molly had confessed about their one-night stand, greeted TJ happily and suggested they go have a beer sometime. TJ promptly decked Brando.

Back at the Corinthos house, Carly and Jason talked in the kitchen privately. Jason shared that Cyrus had evidence against them all concerning the conspiracy to keep Dev in the country illegally. Carly was horrified, and Jason said that now they can’t kill Cyrus, but that there are other ways to stop him.

After some talk about Sonny’s holdings and properties, Carly said that she was deeply worried about the waterfront and Cyrus. Jason said that Carly couldn’t be involved in any of that, but Carly said she needed to know everything. Jason refused to make Carly an accessory.

Back out in the living room, Alexis arrived, and Sam snipped at her about just being there for the liquor. Olivia then talked with Alexis, who revealed that she didn’t accept the DA’s deal to complete rehab and get a suspended sentence. Alexis also insisted to Olivia that Tracy drove on the night she lost her license.

Somewhere out in the snow, Sonny was lying face down with a gash on his head and had difficulty getting up. Suddenly, the spirit of Mike Corbin (Max Gail) approached Sonny. “Where am I?” Sonny moaned quietly. “Halfway between where you left and where you’re going,” Mike said matter-of-factly.

“Maybe you’re still able to go back to where you came from. Only time will tell,” Mike told Sonny, noting that his watch had stopped. Mike told Sonny that he still had a choice – to lay back down or start walking one step at a time.

Sonny said that he couldn’t, but Mike chided him about throwing in the towel and encouraged him to keep on.

“Never give up, never give in, they’re waiting for you at home,” Mike said, before disappearing. Sonny managed to get up and checked his watch, which was ticking again. Sonny sat weakly on a rock, and then some guy came along and asked what Sonny was doing out here. “I don’t know,” Sonny said.
