General Hospital (GH) spoilers tease that a shocking sneak peek video for Monday, July 19, shows Spencer Cassadine (Nicholas Chavez) getting busted after a cockroach slipup. Nikolas Cassadine (Marcus Coloma) demands answers when his son seems to know too much, so let’s talk about what’s in store and how Spencer will handle it.
For starters, Nikolas will step away from the table he’s sharing with Spencer at the Metro Court. Ava Jerome Cassadine (Maura West) will need to speak with Nikolas about their divorce proceedings, so Nik will excuse himself and leave Spencer annoyed.
Nikolas hates the thought of Ava not being his wife any longer, but she’s unwilling to risk her daughter for her marriage.
Ava already lost Kiki Jerome (Hayley Erin) quite horrifically, so she’s not about to lose Avery Corinthos (Ava and Grace Scarola), too.
Deep down, Nikolas is holding out hope that the divorce won’t be finalized, but he’ll still seem somber during this divorce discussion.
Ava will ultimately sense that Spencer’s getting a bit antsy at the table, so she won’t want to keep him waiting.
Ava will thank Nikolas for the updates and tell him to have Martin Grey (Michael E. Knight) call Scott Baldwin (Kin Shriner).
As Ava leaves, she’ll remind Nikolas about their marriage being broken down irrevocably. There’ll be no chance for a future in Ava’s mind – not as long as this stalker remains a threat.
Of course, Nikolas doesn’t think the stalker situation is as serious as it seems.
It feels more like a series of pranks in Nikolas’ opinion rather than something that could bring real harm.
After Nikolas rejoins Spencer at the table, Spencer will try to convince his father that it’s better this way.
Nikolas won’t see how, but Spencer will suggest that he doesn’t want to see Ava get hurt.
“Ava may not be my favorite person, but if someone is trying to freak her out with something like a cockroach in plexiglass…” Spencer says in GH’s sneak peek video for Monday, July 19.
Nikolas then narrows his eyes and grows suspicious. “How do you know about that?” Nikolas asks as the clip concludes.
Spencer will have to do some quick thinking and figure out an explanation that’ll make sense to Nikolas.
Although Spencer should manage to cover his blunder for now, Nikolas may think back to this slipup later as more clues come to light.
It looks like this is the start of Spencer getting busted, even if it takes some time for the whole truth to be revealed!
