General Hospital (GH) spoilers for Monday, May 24, tease that Cyrus Renault (Jeff Kober) will send Peter August (Wes Ramsey) to spy on Sasha Gilmore (Sofia Mattsson) – and Britt Westbourne’s (Kelly Thiebaud) test results will come in. Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) will also play with fire, so here’s what you can look forward to on Monday’s action-packed episode.
At Maxie Jones’ (Kirsten Storms) apartment, Damian Spinelli (Bradford Anderson) will drop by and notice that she seems on edge. Spinelli will suggest he thinks he knows what’s going on, but he certainly won’t suspect the truth.
Maxie intends to fake her baby’s death and hand her over to Brook Lynn Quartermaine (Amanda Setton), but she should play along with whatever Spinelli deems the problem.
Spinelli may sense that Maxie’s concerned about Peter August (Wes Ramsey) and the threat he still poses, but he’ll probably promise they’re going to figure something out.
Speaking of figuring something out, that’s what Sasha and Brando Corbin (Johnny Wactor) will be trying to do. The two of them will have another meeting as Sasha explains what she’s doing at GH.
Brando won’t think it’s smart for Sasha to be seen there, especially since Cyrus could pop up at any moment.
However, Sasha will insist she’s indeed being smart since she’ll be transferring her records to Mercy Hospital instead. She’ll hope this can keep Cyrus away from any info that could lead back to Brando.
General Hospital spoilers say Brando will feel like he has the chance at something amazing – the chance to be a loving father and build a family. He’ll once again vow to support Sasha through her pregnancy and will gladly agree when she invites him to her next OB-GYN appointment.
As for Cyrus, he’ll recruit Peter for a “small favor.” Once Sasha has an unsettling encounter with Cyrus’ ally, she’ll get the feeling that Peter’s keeping tabs on her.
Afterward, Sasha’s hunch will be proven correct. Peter will get ready to meet back up with Cyrus and fill him in on Sasha’s secret meeting with Brando, so the “baby daddy” puzzle pieces will click into place for Cyrus later in the week.
In the meantime, Nina will want to go on another date with Elijah Crowe (Dan White) with a couple of goals in mind. For starters, Nina will want to throw Elijah off the trail and make sure he doesn’t suspect she was in on the recent break-in at his office.
Nina will also want to see what else she can find out about the shady business Elijah’s involved in, she’ll get some pushback.
Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) won’t get why Nina insists on pressing her luck. He won’t want Nina putting herself in harm’s way by going on a second date and seeking more info, but Nina’s mind will be made up.
Unfortunately, Elijah is indeed suspicious of Nina and will use this upcoming date to figure out exactly how much she’s in the loop on.
Over with Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright), she’ll meet with Gladys Corbin (Bonnie Burroughs) again. Diane Miller (Carolyn Henessy) will be present for this meeting and may vow to do whatever she can to keep Gladys out of prison – or at least minimize the consequences once she cooperates.
Carly will keep pushing Diane to recant her statement and implicate Cyrus since she’ll view it as the only way to keep Brando safe. Of course, it seems likely Cyrus could still find a way to order a hit on Brando from behind bars if he really wanted to.
Carly’s plan is certainly more about scoring Jason Morgan’s (Steve Burton) freedom than anything else!
In Canada, Jason will let Britt know that her test results are in. Britt will be nervous about finding out whether she has the marker for Huntington’s disease, but Jason will be there to calm her down and provide support.
