General Hospital Spoilers: Monday, May 3 – Jason’s Escape in Jeopardy – Cyrus’ Wyndemere Dinner – Nina Gets Rid of Trina

General Hospital (GH) spoilers for Monday, May 3, tease that Cyrus Renault (Jeff Kober) will arrive at Wyndemere for the “family affair” he’s been promised. Ava Jerome Cassadine (Maura West) is working with Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright) and Laura Collins (Genie Francis), so she’s agreed to host a dinner and keep Cyrus busy for the evening.

Nikolas Cassadine (Marcus Coloma), Laura, Kevin Collins (Jon Lindstrom) and Martin Grey (Michael E. Knight) will be attending as well, but Cyrus is no fool. He’ll surely wonder why Ava had such an abrupt change of heart and arranged such a lovely night so fast.

Cyrus may not buy that his Avery Corinthos (Ava and Grace Scarola) threat worked that well.

“Why are we here?” Cyrus asks suspiciously in Monday’s GH preview video. However, family is Cyrus’ weak spot, so Ava and Laura can exploit that by making this big push for family peace.

There’ll still be plenty of tension, especially between Cyrus and Laura once she lashes out.

At GH, Elizabeth Baldwin (Rebecca Herbst) will barge in Hamilton Finn’s (Michael Easton) office and demand some answers.

Finn requested that Liz be transferred to another floor rather than explaining the situation to her, so she’ll want to know what really happened in Harrison Chase’s (Josh Swickard) hospital room.

Of course, Elizabeth may argue that Finn’s move contributed to the trouble she landed in with Britt Westbourne (Kelly Thiebaud), who pushed Liz to take an immediate leave of absence.

Liz negotiated her way out of that for now – and it’s clear that Britt’s more concerned about the questions Liz is asking about that relate to Jason.

Even so, Elizabeth is fed up with all the secrets and strange things happening around General Hospital. Although Liz was supposed to go home for the rest of the day, she’ll confront Finn instead.

Will Finn end up confessing or at least give Liz enough info so that she figures it out on her own? Elizabeth will be furious by midweek, May 5, so that could mean some Peter August (Wes Ramsey) revelations are headed her way.

Next on Monday’s General Hospital episode, Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) will rush over to The Tan-O and try to stop Trina Robinson (Sydney Mikayla) from seeing Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard).

After some car problems, Trina and Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy) finally made it to Nixon Falls – and now Trina has stopped off at The Tan-O for some takeout before she gets back on the road home with Joss and Jasper “Jax” Jacks (Ingo Rademacher).

Nina was obviously unnerved by that info, so she’ll make a beeline for the bar on Monday and do her best to get rid of Trina before she spots “Mike.”

Trina will admit she’s surprised Nina’s staying there and may act like she didn’t think sleepy Nixon Falls was really Nina’s style or speed.

However, Nina may suggest she’s a new woman these days and try to nudge Trina out the door before Sonny returns. “And now you have to go,” Nina tells Trina in the promo clip for Monday, May 3.

At the clinic, Josslyn will be busy facing more questions about her ankle boot and the fact that she’s not playing at the tournament. Jax will suspect Josslyn went against her doctor’s orders and played on her sprained ankle while it was healing.

Jax  push for an explanation, but Joss will suggest she’ll give one when Jax explains his bullet wound! This won’t qualify as a “minor” injury in Josslyn’s opinion.

Other General Hospital spoilers say Britt will deliver a crucial warning. “You have got to keep a low profile,” Britt insists in Monday’s GH preview video. Perhaps Britt will offer some final instructions to another key member of the escape plot.

Over with Carly, she’ll sit with Damian Spinelli (Bradford Anderson) and monitor her plan from afar. “I don’t like this…I don’t like it at all,” Carly says as she listens over the phone in Monday’s promo.

Someone will enter and tell Jason that it’s time to go, but will that be Carly’s man or one sent by Cyrus instead? Jason will look suspicious – and we know that shady janitor just called to rat out Britt again.

Britt may have to intervene and put herself in more danger since this getaway will apparently go wrong.

Thankfully, Jason will still be able to make his escape in the end. Britt will bolt with Jason, so we’ll give you updates as other news comes in on this exciting storyline!

General Hospital spoilers say Jason and Britt will grow even closer in the weeks ahead, so stay tuned. CDL’s where you want to be for terrific General Hospital spoilers, news and updates, so stop by frequently.
