General Hospital (GH) spoilers for the next two weeks, August 16 to through August 27, tease that Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) will face an unwelcome guest while Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright) deals with some wedding nerves. Harrison Chase (Josh Swickard) and Willow Tait (Katelyn MacMullen) will also split soon – and we’ll see Maxie Jones’ (Kirsten Storms) homecoming.
During the week of August 16-20, Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) and Carly will kick their wedding plans into high gear. Carly and Jason will opt to get married as soon as possible to deal with the growing threat from their mob rivals.
They may hope sealing the deal will convince Jasper “Jax” Jacks’ (Ingo Rademacher) to back off and reach a place of acceptance as well.
However, Jax will keep fighting for Josslyn Jacks’ (Eden McCoy) safety and will score an ally in Liesl Obrecht (Kathleen Gati), who might confess her fears about Britt Westbourne (Kelly Thiebaud) being in danger, too.
Some sort of risky ramifications are ahead for Britt, so Liesl might be right to worry!
Over with Spencer Cassadine (Nicholas Chavez), his party will turn into a scary train wreck after Nikolas Cassadine (Marcus Coloma) exposes his son as the stalker.
Between a mysterious hooded costume and a phone call that’s allegedly from Ryan Chamberlain (Jon Lindstrom), Spencer will end up rattled and will share a vulnerable moment with Trina Robinson (Sydney Mikayla).
While Laura Collins (Genie Francis) chews Nikolas out for his poor parenting skills, Sam McCall (Kelly Monaco) will dig for Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison) details with Curtis Ashford (Donnell Turner) help.
A phone call from Drew himself will put Sam on the path to the truth about where her ex is and why.
During the week of August 23-27, Sam will find another helper in Anna Devane (Finola Hughes).
We’ll also see Sam consider her future, so she may ponder what one would look like with Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna).
Sam might even let her mind wander to what would happen if Drew came back in the picture. There’s definitely the potential for a Drew and Sam reunion when the time is right, but Drew will remain a hostage in a foreign prison for a while.
Maxie will return to Port Charles, but seeing “Bailey Quartermaine” aka Louise August (Harper and Scarlett Bloom) won’t get any easier.
There’ll be a difficult run-in between Maxie and Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart) with the baby right off the bat.
Maxie will try to distract herself by talking to Carly about the impending wedding, but that plan won’t work for long.
Carly will battle some nerves as she makes preparations for the big day, but Jason will calm her down as usual.
As for Carly and Jax, they’ll struggle to keep the peace for Josslyn’s sake – and Joss will notice!
Look for Josslyn and Jason to discuss all the conflict while Carly suspects there could be more going on. Carly will sense that some old feelings are bubbling up, so she may wonder if part of Jax’s problem is related to their history together.
Over with Willow, she’ll be ready to break things off with Chase and hit him with the painful truth.
Chase will have his own painful bomb to drop on Willow since he knows she slept with Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell) the day of Wiley Quartermaine-Corinthos’ (Erik and Theo Olson) birthday party.
In Nixon Falls, GH spoilers say a familiar face will catch Nina off guard. We’ll see Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) make the acquaintance of someone intriguing, so Nina’s fears about her old life colliding with her new one were warranted.
There’ll be an unwelcome guest for Nina to deal with – and she’ll soon be backed into a corner.
This will lead to Nina’s desperate call for help, so it might be time to bring Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart) in on this. That’s especially true if Peter August (Wes Ramsey) ends up being the unwelcome guest!
As for Hamilton Finn (Michael Easton), he’ll get a pleasant surprise while Spencer heads to Alexis Davis’ (Nancy Lee Grahn) facility.
Spencer will explain his stalker actions and perhaps get some advice on how to handle things with his father in the aftermath.
