General Hospital (GH) spoilers reveal that Nicholas Alexander Chavez is joining GH as a Spencer Cassadine recast. Once the mystery man is unmasked, we’ll see Chavez’s face as he takes over the role. Spencer was last played by Nicolas Bechtel, but the show went in a new direction and it giving Chavez quite the debut.
Fans know Nikolas Cassadine (Marcus Coloma) and Ava Jerome Cassadine (Maura West) have been dealing with a terrifying stalker situation – and it’s obvious Spencer is the one behind this twisted plot.
It’s possible Spencer had a partner in crime, but he’s definitely been working hard to blow up his father’s marriage to Ava.
Chavez is a handsome young actor who looks like he’ll fit right in with this older teen set. It looks like Chavez already gets along great with his costars.
On Instagram last month, Chavez posted a pic of himself with the new Corvette he’d just bought.
Sydney Mikayla (Trina Robinson), William Lipton (Cameron Webber) and Eden McCoy (Josslyn Jacks) all chimed in the comments section since they were so impressed with the purchase.
Of course, everyone one will be waiting to see who Spencer gets paired up with as he settles back in Port Charles.
Trina seems like the most likely option since she’s the first to encounter masked Spencer, but we certainly can’t rule out Josslyn. Cameron may have some competition for Josslyn’s heart depending on how the writers want to take things.
Regardless, this is shaping up to be a nice quad with the addition of Spencer. As for Nikolas, he’s in for a big surprise when he realizes his own son has been scheming to destroy his happiness with Ava.
You can bet Spencer will reconnect with his grandmother, Laura Collins (Genie Francis), along with many other Port Charles residents.
There’s certainly a place for a Spencer Cassadine recast on canvas, so let’s hope viewers give Nicholas Alexander Chavez a warm welcome. We’ll pass along updates as other GH news rolls in.
