General Hospital (GH) spoilers tease that Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) may get back in touch with a familiar face. GH fans know Nina’s kindhearted nurse, Phyllis Caulfield (Juliette Jeffries), has reentered the story through her new connection to Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard).
Phyllis took care of Nina when she was in her long-term coma and already spilled what she knew to Nina about her baby girl’s adoption. However, General Hospital spoilers say Nina will learn some new information in the coming weeks that leaves her curious.
Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart) will help Nina uncover some things that could leave her eager to talk to Phyllis once again.
Nina thought she could drop this child search, but that’s just not possible. Nina can’t rest until she exhausts all options in her efforts to find her long-lost daughter.
Of course, Phyllis remains the person who’s been able to tell Nina the most about her child. Perhaps Nina will settle on some fact of the case that she thinks Phyllis could share more on.
It looks like Curtis Ashford (Donnell Turner) will pitch in as well, so he might have some tips as a private investigator. Maybe Curtis will think it’s a matter of asking the right questions.
Since Nina will think back on her discussion with Phyllis in the coming episodes, it’s reasonable to think she’ll want a follow-up conversation.
Phyllis is a busy woman who already took time out to visit Nina in Port Charles, so Nina surely won’t want her to do it again. Instead, Nina might decide she should go to Phyllis – and that could easily land Nina at Lenny Caulfield’s (Rif Hutton) bar!
Perhaps Nina will call Phyllis with a few more questions she wants to ask in person. Nina might promise to come to Phyllis this time and get the address of the bar that belongs to Phyllis’ husband.
If Nina indeed ends up there, she could come dangerously close to exposing another big secret. Will Nina spot Sonny aka “Mike”?
Even if she doesn’t, Nina could at least have a near-miss. Soaps love to do the kind of thing. Nina might hear about the amnesiac man who’s been helping out in the kitchen and give her compliments to the cook on a dish.
It’d be a comical almost reveal that could become more important to the story later.
Whatever the case, Phyllis might be able to remember something else that could help with Nina’s daughter search. Phyllis is still Nina’s best shot at info, so a trip to the same bar Sonny works in may be in order.
