General Hospital (GH) spoilers tease that Peter August (Wes Ramsey) will cheat death on Cassadine Island, so his final stop should be Port Charles when he comes for Maxie Jones (Kirsten Storms) and Louise August (Harper and Scarlett Bloom). Let’s talk about Peter’s fate and the new plans he’ll carry out.
Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) feels certain that Peter can be taken down now that they know all his Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison) activation secrets.
Drew and Jason are eager to put an end to this threat, but Peter definitely knows how to avoid deadly outcomes by now!
Maxie has gone to a great deal of trouble to make sure Peter doesn’t come after Louise – and there’s even more scheming ahead. This storyline just isn’t going to be satisfying unless Peter returns to Port Charles for more drama.
General Hospital spoilers say Harrison Chase (Josh Swickard) will become the new fake “baby daddy,” so there’ll still be this public ruse about who “Bailey Quartermaine” actually belongs to.
However, Peter is bound to find out the truth anyway – whether he does it through PC spies or just shows up to make the discovery himself.
Regardless, the show wouldn’t need to keep the story going with faux father Chase if Peter were truly dead. Maxie could just take her baby back and be done with it.
The fact that this Chase chapter of the story is brewing offers a giant clue about Peter’s Cassadine Island fate.
It’s possible Peter’s survival will be left up in the air for a bit. Maxie may feel like she has to keep the charade going a little longer – just in case Peter were to show his face in Port Charles.
Peter might get another exit that leaves him disappearing into dark waters after a major jump.
However, Maxie is dying to raise her child at this point. It might be tough to stay away knowing the threat’s potentially over.
That could give GH writers a good reason to go with a confirmed escape that Britt Westbourne (Kelly Thiebaud) can report back to Maxie. It may be a situation where Peter simply flees knowing that’s his best option.
Regardless, the Peter chaos won’t be finished since we know the Chase “baby daddy” route is on the way. That tells us Peter will survive whatever Jason and Drew have in store since the storyline will press on.
It also means Peter will have an opportunity to go after Maxie and “Bailey” in PC, so Maxie’s worst fear may come true.
